Cory, 18 year-old walking Texas stereotype who swings both ways, comes to Virgina Tech to play football and hopefully be less of a closet case. There he finds a sophomore wide-receiver who likes to bite, a pretty boy pre-med with a talent for name calling, and a grad student with a big...chip on his shoulder. (Formerly "Efrain and Cory")

A song for the journey

They say you can survive high school. Well, perhaps not.
A homage to slashers, everything Lynchian, high schools, crime and punishment, sex and conservatism, popular culture and romance, this loosely written and casually spun novella takes you into the repressed and the debauched, the murders and the laughs, the families and the friends of a good ole American town where nothing is as it seems, and no one is going to be a hero. All of it began with the murder of a young girl.

Winifred Barrett is good. She was brought in to help meld two corporate identities into one, and winds up taking on more and more responsibilities. Could a career woman back then have it all? One would think not….

Through a series of her letters and journal entries, we learn the answer.

Gabe meets Toby at a convention, but they live in different places. To truly be together, one of them is going to have to make a choice that will change their lives, hopefully for good.

This was my attempt to partake in National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo). It has been an interesting experiment, I learned much but I didn't make it. The last week of the month has been too busy to write a poem a day. Anyway, I thought I use this collection to post the poems not belonging to a poetry prompt here from now on.
