Musings of a Messed Up Mind - 12. Whispers and Where 2 poems

Two poems ..

Whispers

It's early and I'm missing you.
Want to rest my weary head
upon your chest. Listen to
your beating heart; tell me
I'm not alone. I look for you
but there is only a whisper.
In the silence of my room,
there is only a whisper of you.

Where

In the early mornings when I’m alone,
I wonder where you are,
who you’re with
The house doesn’t feel like home.
You are in my thoughts.
Can you feel me?
In the darkness when I try to sleep.
I chase you through my dreams,
just out of reach

Thanks for reading!

Hey Tim
I can feel a whole lot of love within these words. Missing that person proves the love is strong.
Nicely done.

I wondered when we would see some missing Mike poetry.

These are tenderly romantic and sweetly longing. Just what I would expect.

Nicely expressed.

I loved these, Tim. You conveyed such need and longing in a few lines. I hope that Mike gets a chance to read these so he can know how much his poet missed him :)

Hi LL! Hmmm, I guess I can show him, he thinks all this is a bit odd, but he humours me! Let's him watch hockey in peace. Thank you so much for your thoughtful review!

These are awesome, Tim. I can hear you in the dimness, searching, reaching for the sounds, but they're just echoes. That comes through so clearly and beautifully. As you have so often done, you paint with words with great effect. Thank you.

These are very lyrical, Tim. You could almost work them up into very touching pop songs, and I mean that in a good way ;)
Thanks for posting them!
