it’s in my chest
thick and heavy
dragging me down
pulling me taut
like passing through
a singularity
improbably large
impossibly small
gravity too great
swallows all of me
constant pressure
i’m out of time
and i want to cry
no tears left in me
but still i’m screaming
inside my mind
in this cold vacuum
silent and dark
i’m but an atom
a single quark
