I think we all feel this at some point or another.  I know, I do.

You touch a place in my memory and heart with this. You capture my frequent sense of understanding the world.

Thanks, Wayne. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way sometimes... though it's good to have it confirmed.

i have to agree we have all felt this sometime or other.  i have and often still do. but then we run into so like minded people who make us feel 'allowed' and accepted.  nice poem, Thorn xo

Thank you, tim. Social interaction can be difficult and confusing... But yeah, there are some people that just make you feel valid.

This is a human need: to be included. Your poem is sad, and too often life can be like that. Thanks.
