you called me your

 

boyfriend

 

and my life began

more than how i present myself

and the clothes i wear

you made me feel like a

 

man

i read this earlier.  i had to let it settle a bit because i don't understand really why you'd want to be other than what you are. 

 

that's just honest, it doesn't mean i don't accept it.  i'd only ever want you to be happy with yourself.   your poem is strong and filled with the need to be accepted as you see yourself.  and love because someone does see... xoxo

I don't want to be other than what I am. I want to be seen as what I am. As you say, to be accepted as I see myself. Because this is who I am. Thanks for taking the time to comment, and for caring.
