The boys do have a shit load of crap to carry. It does seem as fate has brought them together with the sad similarities and the really strong mutual attraction. The latter which will be noted as it becomes obvious. It seems the author has pinned a lodestone of trouble on each of the boys and hopefully they can survive it...

Kendo has wormed his way in and made Travis dependent. Travis is focused on the "help" Kendo has provided and is resentful of Will's "holier than thou" attitude which doesn't speak well for a future together. I originally bet the big melt down would be in chapter 42 but it seems now it could happen as soon as the next chapter...although it may be a multi-chapter event.

I wasn't expecting an evil twin story. The bit about messing with grandma's pills and watching her die was the final straw He needed killing and whether Troy assisted him over the cliff or just stepped out of the way at the charge, evil personified died. The trauma both guys faced has uncanny similarities. Will Morgan spill now or later is the question...

As of August 4th, the story is updated to complete. Now I'm campaigning for a sequel!

Wayne's stories are always interesting. This one is exceptionally well crafted, with restrained pacing, sparse but telling descriptions and characters you can relate to and want to know better. The setting is a cattle ranch in Oklahoma and that means hard work, sweat and long days. That mother nature doesn't always cooperate is a given. What is noteworthy, is that the characters are not bitter, and have warm hearts and can laugh in the small moments. There are elements of severe abuse mentioned in the story and how they are processed and moved on from with the help of friendship is the heart of this story. Read it and enjoy!

At 16 Morgan would be placed with CPS if not arrested....fleeing was a no brainer. The ride out west was a learning experience that Kbois did not overly detail. Getting the referral from the rancher was a lucky break. Meeting the stud on the stallion was probably the best stimulation for Morgan to work his ass off to prove himself. The drug mask is slowly being noticed and Travis is still resisting counseling. Will is trying to not make it worse by bullying Travis but he should check out Travis' bags to find out what he is taking. I still think the big crash is at least a few chapters away, but it is getting closer... More please!

In Chapter 39, Will is catching on about the pills and trying to not be a controlling bitch. So my guess of chapter 42 may be a bit premature, although I suspect it will still be a real cliff hanger....

Chapter 18 was posted yesterday, July 30th and today the story is still in process....so I'm looking forward to an epilogue!

The writing is tight and flows naturally, but I'm hesitant to think it will be sufficiently wrapped up in one chapter. So I'm also campaigning for an epilogue!
