    By Cia

So today's blog leads to a double feature on the main forum page (have you read Graeme's story, Heart of the Tree? Check it out here, it's not forbidden!) but the theme of today's blog is there can be only one! That's right, which ONE character from the Secret Author Forbidden Knowledge stories have you read would you LOOOOOOVE to meet in real life?  Share your favorite character to meet in a comment below (and why!). Seems simple, right? As with all discussions on GA, muahahahahaha!

Featured Story : Heart of the Tree by Graeme

    By wildone

Wow, I'm being worked to the bone here 😮 2 blogs in 2 days  So when I heard one of our Review Team Members was heading down under, I thought I might take a stab at writing my first review for the Review Team. I need to warn you, I usually only copy and paste the amazing work the Team does.  So with @chris191070 in Australia, I thought I would review one of my favourite stories from there.        Heart of the Tree by Graeme   Reviewer: Wildone Status: Compl

I'm back!

Okay, since everyone else on the planet seems to have a blog now, I figured I'd write in mine. I FINALLY have the internet again, after 2 weeks without. *whew* I'm still trying to get used to my new roommates. Two guys, a girl, and a 3-month-old. Joy of joys. I can't have my pets here, because the girl is allergic to the rabbit, so I've got a friend keeping them. It's pretty funny-he has two cats, and I was afraid they'd bother the bunny, but they're scared to death of him. It sucks not having t

Disturbing the world

I'm in one of those pissed off moods where I have lots of goals, and I do make a little progress on each one, but I have not completed a single one in the past month. As my frustration boils over and I share it with you, I invite you to vent as well. What's pissing you off?

All About Lily Chou Chou

All About Lily Chou Chou, first of my weekly movie reviews.Has anyone seen a Japanese movie called All About Lily Chou Chou? A friend of mine saw it and recommended it to me, so I went out and rented it. So before I go any further I have to say that this movie is not for everyone. It has alot of situations including rape, torture, suicide and murder. The movie is set in Japan and it revolves on a set of highschool students who listen to the music of lily chou chou, a fictional music star create

Fight! Fight! Fight!

Its Chris writing today....David is feeling sorry for himself tonight, because he got smacked good on the nose today...Here's the version of the story I got when he came home. He said that his security were following some guy who they thought had stolen good's, they stopped him at the door, but David being himself couldn't just leave them to do there job's. He decided he would help stop the guy when he decided to run. Obviously the guy didn't like this because he smacked him in the nose. Not bro

Private lives

I'm always amazed, being an old guy (I'm 43, which means I'm pretty old, although not as old as Connor), at how much the internet has changed not just the world (that's an old story), but our personal lives. Growing up as a bisexual guy in pre-internet days I had no way to communicate anonymously with anyone about my feelings. There was no way to share the challenges without taking someone into my confidence, a truly horrifying risk. You see, for a bi guy, if you get outed, you've pretty much

Immune from AIDS?

I remembered seeing an article some time ago where scientists claimed that some people of European descent showed a natural immunity from AIDS stemming from a mutated gene. The original cause of the mutation was thought to be the Plague, but now, according to the article below, it appears to be smallpox that is the cullprit/benefactor. It seems that if you want someone to bareback f**K you, you should pick a Swede. Plague Debunked As Link to AIDS Immunity Smallpox seen as likely cause of muta

The trouble with friends.

Do you ever feel like your failing your friends? I have alot of friends so many that I can't count but I have two best friends that live in separate sections of the country that I have known since I was in kindergarten, i feel like I'm failing them. We are the last of three friends that used to be five friends. One is Jessicca, the female of our little group. She lives the furthest from us and seems to be the first to grow up. She has two kids with a third on the way. The thing is that I know th

Two House Guests! and some moaning

How exciting. My best friend called earlier to ask if she could stay for a few days! From no guests to two in as many days. What a great way to end a shitty day. Work was awfull today my night shift manager gave me a sick line (excusing him from work) from the doctor at 9 pm. I.e when his shift was due to start. A few frantic calls later i had someone to cover. Im still royally pissed at this though. I mean you'd think he'd have the sense to tell me a few hours in advance that he wouldn't be in w

New School

In a little over a month I'm going to start at a new school. I'm finally leaving the comfort of a small school to a more competitive and fast paced environment. I'm a little afraid. In the past I found that I do my best work under pressure. I seem to be inspired by competition. Sometimes you see that person that totally inspires you to do something better than what they have done. Then there is that one person that makes you feel inferior and you just want to sit at their feet and learn everythi

30 days later

So I just finished watching the television show 30 days. It's produced by Morgan Spurlock the man behind the documentary Supersize Me. The episode I watched had a homophobic soldier from Michigan move in with a gay man in San Francisco. The Soldier ultimately learned alot, but what had me interested is the fact that when the man came back home he seemed to fall back into his homophobic ways.I come from a very homophobic culture. I was led to believe that anything homosexual was wrong. I grew up

That's perfect.

Well... This weekend was interesting... I got a lot of work done and managed to not go insane mainly because my mother was out of the state.   Unfortunatly I was met with tragedy. My netbook of 1.5 years died on Saturday with a watery fate. I was by my friends pool working on some things for work when my friend came by and knocked my netbook into the pool. Thankfully I'm an avid backer upper because I didn't loose anything vital, just a movie or two. So needless to say I was horrified and dove

Begining of Pride Weekend in Asbury

Well it's the begining of pride in asbury park this weekend and so far it's been a blast!   I met Tara Sanchez tonight of RuPauls drag race and she was fierce/ her performance was spot on and she worked the crowd.   I hung out with my friends as well tonight and got a bit drunk off the cheap drinks lol (Kelly knows how to get me drunk and on a budget haha).   I made some new friends tonight, and some of them are staff at Paradise lol. It's nice walking into a bar where everyone knows you a
