2026 Anthology - Horizons and Unspoken - Week One **NOW LIVE**

    By Valkyrie

It's heeeeerrrrrrreeeee.... We've been anticipating these stories all year, and now it's time to release the Kraken!  Uh... anthology stories.  With two themes this year - Horizons and Unspoken- we had several authors take up the challenge and write stories for both themes.   So, without further ado, enjoy this week's anthology stories!  Don't forget to react, comment, and leave a review! The anthology will post over several weeks, so if your story is not listed here, fear not!

Grammar Rodeo #9

It's been a while since we had a Grammar Rodeo from Cia, but this month that feature has returned. Let's see what Cia has to say about.... NUMBERS!   Let’s talk numbers! 01 001 1 100 0... no that’s not what I mean. LOL One of the subtle details that refines writing is how an author addresses numbers. Let’s face it, you can’t write anything at length without running into this issue because our lives are dictated by things like time and money.   Numbers in Fiction   Numbers at the begi

August C S R Discussion Day: Treading Water By Headstall

August is coming to a close, and with it summer for the northern hemisphere--the last hurrah for many families having those family/friend barbecues and spending time together. But not all families get to do that--which is exactly what we see in Headstall's Treading Water. Did you have a chance to read it yet? If you didn't, well be careful of spoilers in the comments but you can still enjoy my interview with Headstall.   Who do you like best: Tom, Jerry, or Huckleberry Hound? Huckleberry Hound

August Signature Excerpt: Reece's Choice By Renee Stevens

Monday we featured Renee Steven's story, Reece's Choice, with a few of her favorite reviews. There's also a signature graphic you can download if you want to share your love of her story. Didn't see it? Don't worry you can still get it here.   Renee says... I chose this scene because it's honestly my favorite scene in the entire story. I've actually had the spider thing happen to me, except I didn't have anyone else there at the time. I love putting some of my personal experiences into stories
