    By Cia

It is said that at the end of this month the veil thins and a reunion of sorts can happen between souls and those they leave behind. What about reunions of a different sort and people that get left behind in our lives? Can those reconnections be made again?  Length:  3,756 Description: Two best friends. Ten years of lies. One reunion that changes everything. Kyle and Nile have spent a decade pretending they're fine—pretending they're successful, pretending their marriages weren't

Writing Prompts #540 & #541

And it's Friday, which not only means the end of most work weeks, but it also means it's time for a couple of new prompts! Did anyone brave the stores this morning? I didn't this year, partly because the hubby is working, but we didn't really need anything this year. Now, lets take a look at what we have in store for your prompts for this week.     Prompt 540 – Creative Tag – The Lottery Your job does everything by lottery, saying it is more fair. Anthology Special Review: Nature's Wrath

The Anthology Review   Did you miss the posting of the fall anthology? Maybe you saw it but were wondering: Exactly what is an anthology and why should I read it? Anthologies have themes, and contributions have to be self-contained short stories that incorporate that theme in some aspect. This is a chance for authors to be inspired to write something new, especially if they’re struggling with their current project, just need a break, or are trying out writing for the first time.
