2026 Anthology - Horizons and Unspoken - Week One **NOW LIVE**

    By Valkyrie

It's heeeeerrrrrrreeeee.... We've been anticipating these stories all year, and now it's time to release the Kraken!  Uh... anthology stories.  With two themes this year - Horizons and Unspoken- we had several authors take up the challenge and write stories for both themes.   So, without further ado, enjoy this week's anthology stories!  Don't forget to react, comment, and leave a review! The anthology will post over several weeks, so if your story is not listed here, fear not!

October Signature Excerpt: Topher Lydon's Reunion

    By Cia

Monday I shared a feature for Topher Lydon's Reunion. How many of you went to your school reunion(s)? I don't, but out of the 18 students I graduated with, yeah... I'm good. I am still besties with my "person" who I met on the first day of first grade, and we get chat and get together as regular as possible, but she actually abandoned me for high school when her folks made her move. The nerve! On the other hand, she met her husband and introduced me to his roommate, who is my husband, so the hig

Weekly Wrap Up (Jan. 31 - Feb. 7)

Well...  What a day today has been. I couldn't avoid a lot of stuff anymore so I had to go out in the freezing weather and get a bunch of stuffs done. Left the house at 8:00 and didn't get home to 3:30 😮 This is the weekend, aren't we supposed to relax and sleep in and take it easy?  So I'm curious, as after working 26 years in stores in retail, I know I didn't like when I heard people who talked about their Monday to Friday jobs. Where some of us in retail worked any day of the week.

Revisions

There are so many times when I look back at my older stories, or even just older chapters of stories that I started years ago that I'm currently working on...and there are SO many things that I wish I had changed or done differently. Details that I could have added, 'wordy' and repetitious sections that I wish I had edited out for the sake of brevity and a more potent race to the point, or mistakes that I should have corrected before putting it out there for people to read. Sometimes, I blame th

Ask An Author 3.0 #2

This is so exciting! When I joined Gay Authors not too long ago, I began reading everything I could get my little fingers on. And Ask An Author has been one of my favorite segments! When I saw that Renee and the team were searching for someone new to tackle AAA, I pulled up my ankle socks and sent her a message. I'm so ecstatic to be even considered for such a responsibility! But before we get into this, I just want to remind everyone that these questions aren't provided by the staff. Nope. That

Weekly Wrap Up (Jan. 24 - Jan. 30)

So put up your hand if you have had a cold this year   To tell the truth, I don't get them that often, but this year wearing a mask and avoiding other people as much as I have, I never thought anything unusual about it. Then Thursday came . I woke up on Thursday AM and had a headache and stuffy nose. The headache seemed to be right in my sinuses. Not having any other symptoms other than the occasional cough, I didn't feel I was on the road to COVID. Thank god!! Well two days later, after lo

What Are You Feeling?

There are occasions, as all writers know, when you may find yourself walking off the path of creativity and inspiration...and you're staring directly at a brick wall. It happens. Some call it writer's block, some may doubt their skills as a writer, and sometimes...you're just plain tired. There's no way around it. It can be frustrating and it can be disheartening and it can end up tossing a lot of deadlines in the trash at the last minute, because you just can't rush that which will not be rushe
