anyway, nope, mines a cheap refurbished laptop i got off overstock.com.

 

do you own something that might get you in trouble if the wrong person found it?

 

I live at home, and im in the closet to my family, so i have a number of things that'd get me in trouble. porn, toys, etc, lol

 

EDIT: Crap, Eliotmoore beat me to it! lol. i own a ton of stuff made in China. Swords, random junk...lol isnt everything made in china???

Oddly enough, yes. I own a bolt that was part of a hydraulic assembly on the first shuttle mission. The bolts were going to be thrown away during post-flight examinations and servicing when a friend of the family grabbed 'em, and gave me one. I was pretty young at the time and thought it was the best thing ever. LoL.

I do. I bought a Military Swiss watch when I was in Switzerland in 1996 and it is still going and I'm still wearing it (three batteries and four wrist bands later).

Yes.

 

1. North America, my Sunbeam electric blanket, made in the U.S.A. (I was going to say "Me, made in the U.S.A.", but decided not to because I'm not sure who owns me. :lol: )

2. South America, my orange "Inca Kola" T-shirt, made in Peru.

3. Asia, my Creative Zen Micro MP3 player, made in Malaysia.

4. Australia, some mint Australian postage stamps, printed in Australia. My aunt sent them to me when she lived there a few years ago.

5. Europe, my Chumbawamba A Singsong and a Scrap CD, recorded and manufactured in the UK.

6. An extra continent as a bonus: Africa, my hand-made drum from Senegal.

Me, no, but the boys own a few transformer-style toys. They even have some old Transformer toys from McDonalds somewhere... unless they were thrown out in one of the clean ups.

YES! Toy cars, and toy trucks too. I'd build roads and mountains in the back yard (much to my folks' dismay) and play with them for hours. Then I'd carefully wash and dry them and return them to their boxes and put them back in my bookcase.

 

Did you ever own an electric train?

God yes... never got serious about it. One small loop and I only used it as an object for my little toy soldiers to sabatoge.

No, not that I can think of.

 

I saw this funny stand-up skit that had been on LOGO by this comedian Bob Smith and he said that just recently, he's started to buy some of the gay pride, "crap" that they sell at various places and he showed a pair of gay pride oven mitts and he's like, "Let me tell you something...(he puts them on)...if you are wearing these to cook, then you are way too gay and need to bring it down a notch."

 

So my question is, do you own any gay pride merchandise? Better yet, do you own any gay pride oven mitts? :lol:

Pride isn't really my scene. Although I will say this: My conure is as multi colored as any pride memorabilia. So I own a gay pride parrot.

 

Do you own a swimming pool. (Sorry if it's been done before but it's been insufferably hot lately and I would kill for a swimming pool at my disposal right about now, so it's been dominating my thoughts.)

Water conservation is a big thing here at the moment and there are a lot of people installing water tanks so they can have water to water the garden.

Uh, it depends what you mean by fetish. I do have ropes, which are quite fetish to me. And shiny underwear in various fabrics. Leather or rubber paraphernalia are outrageously expensive, and not necessarily my thing. I'd say a well-equipped sports goods store is a sex shop for me.

Yes but I never really use them. When it gets to be really windy (Jersey shore is much windier than Chicago, and so the wind chill gets to be just as bad, if not worse) I wear my normal clothes, plus a hoodie with the hoodie up, my snowboarding jacket zipped up over my mouth, my gloves, and my sunglasses. My roommate does the same, so we look really ridiculous walking around together, but we're the warmest!

I own 11 rookie cards of baseball players who have been inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY.

Big baseball fan. Mind you, the 1994 baseball strike took the edge off my enthusiasm.

 

I also own a chemistry book published in 1890. I'm a chemist so it's really unique to have it.
