Ok so y'all had Stan The Man and St young. We have Chipper Jones as well as the the best pitching trio of the 90's Tom Glavine, Greg Maddux,  and the best John Smoltz. Plus the all time record holder for ejections, Bobby Cox.

Interesting fact about the Atlanta Braves from the Sporting News:

"The familiar refrain about the 1990s Braves teams is that, despite eight straight postseason berths and five pennants in the decade, they only captured one World Series championship.

For many fans and observers, it seems to defy odds that a team that spent much of the decade with three Hall of Fame starters, a Hall of Fame manager and a future Hall of Fame third baseman could underachieve so consistently."

I thought this was LPW, not Baseball Appreciation Thread. :P

:joe: Tsar Steve and whatever Baseball Team he supports! :D

My comment wasn't about a baseball team. I was referencing the Philadelphia Flyers (the Hockey Team). And back to the mighty raptor once again.

Have a slice of Coffee Cake on me and a Beer on DDK.
