I have NEVER seen an overweight tree expert. Very true. The arborist that we deal with is the epitome of eye candy which is a really nice bonus. Edited July 6, 2021 by Reader1810 1 4

Popular Post Starrynight22 Posted July 8, 2021 Popular Post Posted July 8, 2021 Hey y'all. Happy midweek to you. It's been so hot out here. I shudder to think of August. But could be worse, could be snow. Haha Grown Kiddo is going on his first adult vacation next week. (he's almost 21) I'm a little nervous. He's a good steady and smart guy but...... I keep thinking of these catastrophic what ifs. But it's one step closer to him leaving the nest....also scary At least I still have at least 14 years left with Little One 4 2
mollyhousemouse Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 @Starrynight22 good to see you! best part of my work day? the manager who said "Refer them to me if they make it an issue." then Phil made dinner after my class which was frustrating as hell tonight. all about quantifying results using MATH 🤯 and now im off to get ready for bed 🛌 have a good night 4 1

With the humidity it was feeling 106F according to the weather network, and they were right! Put the AC on both days. Today you’d think you were being punked because it was 73F with a chilly breeze. I was almost cold on my walk wearing shorts. lol Im sure as I think you are too grown kiddo will do just fine. Still, it’s natural to worry, even if it’s just a little bit. 4 2

But it's one step closer to him leaving the nest....also scary At least I still have at least 14 years left with Little One It's such a flip flop of emotions when you realize your kids are actually adults. My older boy left for Kansas on Monday and made it safely. (Yes my mind conjured up every imaginable catastrophe) Now he's 1400 miles away for the foreseeable future. It's been a stressful week so far with him moving, the tropical storm, having an unexpected house guest (my coworker) and work issues. Our heat index is in the triple digits too. I miss the little kid who used to cuddle up to me. But the adult he's become is amazing. No matter how old they get we'll always worry. Hope everyone had a good day! 5
Fae Briona Posted July 8, 2021 Posted July 8, 2021 SP has agreed to see the Dr about short-term anti-depressants -- he's predisposed anyway and the thyroid swings haven't helped things any. Had to guilt him into it, but he's doing it. 5

Popular Post rickproehl Posted July 9, 2021 Popular Post Posted July 9, 2021 Excuse me Good Sirs and DiC friends hi and Good Morning like many of us still working on solving our challenges. each challenge has a lesson to be learn. this current lesson is “it is what it is” and patience. Doctor Visit didn’t go as expected. Need to switch my meds. Due to what it is i have to gradually decrease it. was told this is a process and even though it feels like a step backward it will be better. was given a list of things to watch for. So working thru this. Now the scan showed we need to do a biopsy. maybe nothing but tell my brain that. He said “don’t worry” yeah right. trying not to stress on this, the best thing is Sirs and DiC Friends Stay Safe 1 7

Worse not to get the biopsy, but it's hard to wait for the result. i've done it, i think many of us have. Not that it makes it easier for you, but know that you can come and tell us what you feel like sharing. Many of us will understand. 2 8

We have waiting times as well. Try and keep busy and meditate and stuff, that helps as you know. Do something with your hands, that helps me. I knit now, like you know. I also received a wellness colouring book and a yoga mat from work. They sent all staff in Canada, Columbia and Mexico one of these wellness packages. Michael ordered coloured pencils for me and frankly, it's nice to do. Just mindless and relaxing. My anxiety is much easier to manage. Amazon sells adult colouring books and Amazon Basic coloured pencils are really good. I was surprised. Michael got the 48 package, but they sell a smaller one. 7

Got myself a 64 pack with a sharpener. Always wanted that when I was young, so I’m guessing some part of me still does… It is very relaxing, that’s for sure. 5
