Got myself a 64 pack with a sharpener. Always wanted that when I was young, so I’m guessing some part of me still does… It is very relaxing, that’s for sure. These amazon basics ones are very smooth and don't wear out too quickly. Have had them for a while and haven't sharpened them yet. I'm surprised. But crayons are cool, why not. It's artistic and relaxing. Paint by number too, would be nice i think. 5

I do jigsaw puzzles on my tablet. There are really good apps for this with a huge collection of colourful puzzles. Jigsaw Bug is my fave, but I also like ones that have free daily puzzles, because I never know what I’m going to get. Good to know about the Amazon Basic pencils, because I realized after the fact that some colouring books are geared towards pencil use - regular crayons don’t adhere to the pages very well. Popular Post kbois Posted July 9, 2021 Popular Post Posted July 9, 2021 I love the smell of a fresh box of crayons. My mom was a teacher and it's one of the scents I associate with her. My go to app is Happy Color. It's a color by number and they have a huge selection. My favorites are the mandalas. There's just something really satisfying when about filling in the last spot and then the whole thing gets colored in. Rather soothing. Hope everyone has a good day! 2 5

Doctor Visit didn’t go as expected. Need to switch my meds. Due to what it is i have to gradually decrease it. was told this is a process and even though it feels like a step backward it will be better. was given a list of things to watch for. So working thru this. Now the scan showed we need to do a biopsy. maybe nothing but tell my brain that. He said “don’t worry” yeah right. trying not to stress on this, the best thing is Sirs and DiC Friends Stay Safe Sending positivity and light your way Rick. Take care of yourself and like others have suggested, try to do something to keep your mind off of things. I know, easier said than done, but staying busy helps. I had to go almost 5 months before I had my surgery last year, and it was a tough wait. I was glad to be busy with my job during that time. 7

Try and keep busy and meditate and stuff, that helps as you know. Do something with your hands, that helps me. I knit now, like you know. I also received a wellness colouring book and a yoga mat from work. They sent all staff in Canada, Columbia and Mexico one of these wellness packages. Michael ordered coloured pencils for me and frankly, it's nice to do. Just mindless and relaxing. My anxiety is much easier to manage. Amazon sells adult colouring books and Amazon Basic coloured pencils are really good. I was surprised. Michael got the 48 package, but they sell a smaller one. yes i have done the coloring and yes it is mindless fun. i have stayed busy with a few community fund raisers - 800 hot dogs on 7/4 and we have 2 fish frys coming up. So helping out brother-in-law and meditation has help a lot. i have one i listen to right before bedtime. 7

Just be sure you look for "coloring books for adults" and not "adult coloring books" -- they'll return to VERY different sets of results. 😏 9

Been trying to explain I'm not ignoring him when I do this, I'm trying to de-stress so I don't snap at him. 5

I'm trying to figure out where we can go for a quick getaway in Oct for our anniversary. I don't want to fly and I'd like to stay within a 4 or 5 hour drive. We did St. Augustine last year. I've always wanted to try deep sea fishing, so maybe I'll look at somewhere on the Georgia coast, perhaps Jekyll Island. Well, back to roasting veggies before taking my son to work. Have a good rest of your day. 2

A place that delivers a box of vegetables each week that cannot be sold in a grocery store because they are not pretty enough. Or they are an odd shape, too big or too small. It's cheaper than the grocery store and supposed to be very fresh. Something our grocery stores struggles with. A couple of weeks ago, they had to be told about bags and bags of blue oranges. And no, they were not a new variety. We both love nearly all veg, so this could be fun. The deliver on Thursday and we shop on Friday, so that will work out well. 5 1

Wow, and I thought it was bad when you have to pick through oranges with soft spots. 1 hour ago, MichaelS36 said: We both love nearly all veg, so this could be fun. So far - knock on wood - my grocer has always had good produce. Which is good for me because I’m trying to eat healthy which means avoiding prepackaged and/or food with a lot of preservatives. I hope Remarkable Rejects work out for you and tim. 3
