Why does the sky open up and pour as you pull in to pick up a baby horse? I changed pick up time because I wanted this 3 yr old to have a nice ride and they were threatening storms for the original time.

Poor baby. Maybe he/she will surprise you and this horse actually likes storm weather.

Ok, I'm impressed. We waited out the downpour. The 3 yr old had nice ground manners and loaded and unloaded beautifully.  She did dance a bit at traffic lights, but settled again as soon as we started moving again.

I am reading this... 

and i've finished chapter 17 of Sold into Freedom..  and i'm also working on short story currently titled Beaten but that may change.

There's also a number of other things, including W.A.R. that wants to be finished.  Sigh.. i've finished my mitre square blanket, a million dish clothes, several scarves .. working on  new blanket now and cushion to match the mitre square blanket in mini squares to use up the leftover yarn from the blanket.
