Thanks for posting these daily inspirations. It's been a rough week for me too. Emotions are the hardest thing to handle sometimes.

it's just the usual ... there appear to be more than the usual number of rabbit holes around. One nice thing this morning, that iced coffee is going down a treat!

blame COVID 19 ...  no one around to stop them.  We saw a young squirrel yesterday ... he seemed to look at us like.. what are they?  We were nearly on top of him when he decided to move away.

The empty glass is staring at me ... i am off tomorrow ... sooooo, i could likely make another. And we have extra milk!    So.. it would be good to help drink that.  right, i've convinced myself...

I went and picked up my mom, came home, took my big Tervis out of the fridge that I had poured the remainder of this morning's coffee pot into, dumped in the rest of my Fireball, added a little creamer and voila. Finding a happy place. At least trying too.

Hey all.  

 

What a day. 

The funeral as expected was over the top with drama.  The husband was a belligerent jerk and ignored the children. He brought  friends, and one of them walked 2 of the kids outside.  The kids uncle who is freshly 18 went out after them when he saw the friend moving them towards the cars, and this big ole 40 year old man was pushing the uncle, who is all of 110 pounds and 5'7. Big sister (the kids aunt) saw and went flying out there, punched the guy in the head. Cops were called. 6 cop cars. We couldn't even leave the parking lot.  No one was arrested though.

Brought friends to kidnap the kids. Wow. I am sorry you all had to go through that. I hope that things calm down.

Whoa, pretty intense. The saddest part is knowing that the kids are the ones who are hurt the most. It breaks my heart.

i've had a quiet day, the usual trip to the farmer's market, picked up my new eyeglasses, again (they were not quite right the first time) 
the groceries have been ordered, everyone's eating something, and Phil bought me a bottle of locally distilled vodka, i'm going to have a nice vodka tonic and watch some TV

i've had a quiet day, the usual trip to the farmer's market, picked up my new eyeglasses, again (they were not quite right the first time)

@mollyhousemouse I had another iced coffee in the afternoon after my walk. I am quite pleased iced coffee does not keep me awake at night.
