Not as far as raising them. I treated all mine as individuals, giving each what the needed. At that age, they pretty much need the same things... like individual attention and quality time. :)

How? Genuinely curious, here. I've worked in childcare. I treated all the kids the same, regardless of gender. They weren't different. They were just kids.

 

EDIT: By the same I mean as Gary says, that I treated each of them as individuals separate from their gender.

They have this book at my local library. I try to treat Mickey more like "one of the dudes" instead of a son. But I also have to remember that someone must be legally responsible for him when he visits.

As I recall, there's a segment about female role models, as well as a chapter about "body issues" for older girls.
