chris191070 Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Back to work tomorrow, half term went to quick. Will be an interesting start as the school changed catering supplier and we got transferred to the new company. So I've got a new menu, new recipes and alot of paperwork to start my week. Have a good Sunday. 1 2 2

I think most of us have that one "ride or die" person who would do absolutely anything for us and never tell another soul. Which leads me to wonder..... Would you (not you specifically tim, but in general) knowingly break the law to help someone? In my case, there would only be a very few limited scenarios and only two, maybe three people I would do this for. As far as me breaking the law, there is only one major crime I would willing commit under very specific circumstances to a specific person who has rightfully earned my absolute hatred and deserves whatever is coming to him. Otherwise my moral compass is still intact. So what says you, peeps? I'd love to hear your thoughts. 2

Gary L Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Sorry to hear some of you are a tad chilly in western hemisphere- here in Valencia, thanks to the amazing almost divine intervention of the greatest supreme leader of the galaxy, with no climate change, it is a cool February day. Oh, sorry, it’s actually 30°c, mid 80s F, on our balcony. 😱 3 1

Mikiesboy Posted February 23 Author Posted February 23 Happy Monday, it's snowing a bit more today, yipee. Well, it's winter so there ya go. I am still reading my story and actually started another which is off world and kinda fun to write. i have a poem for the anthology, but i'd like to write another one. I have yarn to sort out, curry to make.. oh the list is too long.. and i'm working on finishing the Orri Scarf i'm making and the first sock just needs binding off, then i will knit the second. I'm doing an afterthought heel so will wait for both to be knit before doing the heels. That's my exciting life for ya. Have a good day folksis. 5

The snow we had in January was the most we've ever had in 88 years of recordkeeping. It's not fun dealing with it anywhere. 2 3
Kitt Posted February 23 Posted February 23 (edited) Wings was out shoveling for a bit. When she came in I asked how the road looked. Her reply was "What road?" Edited February 23 by Kitt 2 3
kbois Posted February 23 Posted February 23 Driveway, walkway, back porch and Camden's doggy relief area are all done. Hubs did the driveway which was the biggest chunk and I did the rest. I don't know if we're getting anymore accumulation and at this point I don't flipping care. Snow sucks. I'm out. See you in the spring. 4 1
Kitt Posted February 24 Posted February 24 First snowplow finally went down our street after we went to bed. The driveway Wings and her boyfriend had down to blacktop now has a 3 ft roll of ice between my truck and the road. I am thinking I may go back into hiding when she looks out the front window. 5
Mikiesboy Posted February 24 Author Posted February 24 It is (after consulting the calendar) Tuesday. Other than my usual stuff, i wrote a bit, have a second poem for the March Antho and I will be making a two day supply of curry today. Dinner for today and tomorrow. It is 3f atm, we'll have a high of 22f. No snow is forecast. Just cold temps. Yeehaw. Have a good one folks. 4 1

Interesting article from newspaper lawyer in England (Scotland has totally separate legal system) responding to a reader’s question: are you legally liable if you clear snow from pavement or if you help an elderly neighbor on their path? Thankfully, the answer was that courts would probably support you…. 1 1
