His disability insurance payment ( 15 weeks worth) finally showed up last Thursday.  Came as a debit card that they will deposit future pmts to directly.  Had a glitch in it would not allow an ach transfer to my checking accnt from which I have auto payments scheduled and the Tax office does not accept debit or credit card payments. That ment withdrawal @ the max of $500 a day till I moved enough to pay the taxes on two parcels.

After an extended conversation with a csr @ the TDI bank they FINALLY fixed what ever was blocking the ach transfers!

The weather is shyte here today. Cold rain, snow, ice crap falling and windy too.  I had to go out but i didn't like it. 

Yesterday, i did some weights and went for a walk...still not sleeping for some reason.  Maybe it's just how things are right now. I refuse to worry.

It's Friday, so that's good for some of you. I hope you all have a good day, even is Friday is really Thursday or Monday. 

I'm gonna go work on my sweater now. i've nearly finished one sock.

I missed the alcohol thing (above) ...i was in bed at my now usual time of 10pm.  I am currently obsessed with the Hitchhiker's Shawl/scarf. 

 

It's a cool thing with 42 'teeth'. i want to make one and then someone mentioned adding some sparkle.. so yeah that was it for me. LOL... i ordered a cone of lace weight yarn - silver with tiny sequins- in the meantime i will continue to knit my sweater and socks.  Once those are done, i will find some nice yarn to knit one with holding both yarns to add the sparkle. Or i could buy sparkle yarn.. or...... 

Since i'm supposed to be a writer with a completed story, i guess i'd better look at that too.  And it's snowing, but i may be lucky and not have to shovel this stuff. Plus Michael is home today!

Here in Valencia it’s a glorious Spring day.  Couldn’t appreciate to the full after v late night at a farewell dinner for a colleague at my old school. Unlike an earlier commentator I hadn’t over imbibed but wieners were v annoyed as I got home at 01.00.  They like to be under the duvet by 10.30! I’m shattered and want an early night but we have a birthday supper to attend. This social life is killing me!

I may need to upgrade to a 2 quilt alarm. They are now saying it will start Sunday morning instead of afternoon and upped the total accumulation prediction to 18  -  24 inches.

Yeah .. ours went from 1-3 inches to 10-20. Dinner plans with high school friends and our French teacher have been postponed again due to Mother Nature telling me that if I'm going to run from hurricanes and swamp ass heat she's gonna throw a few blizzards and below zero wind chills at me. She's a fickle £!+¢#.

I'll be under the covers with two pairs of socks on. Dammit.

Well you two aren't going anywhere for the foreseeable future, so grab the quilts and the socks and hunker down.  It's going to be bad if @kbois is threatening double socks!

Go make a run for a couple of cans of Redi Whip because Irish coffee or Kahlua in hot chocolate helps chase away the chill. 🤣
