It's really not snowing again. It's really not snowing again. It's really not snowing again. It's really not snowing again.

This is the only snowman I want to see.

I'm afraid to come here some days.

It's Wednesday.. just had some nice sourdough and strawberry jam. We had snow, so now i'm going out to shovel it. Soon enough, we'll be whining about the heat.

I have finished the scarf/shawl thing i was making, and the first sock is done, gonna cast on the next, i am reading a book called Pachinko by Min Jin Lee and just keeping myself busy.

Hope you all have a good day.

That’s a really cool snowman and it’s great he was captured on film before he disappeared.

It got me thinking too, and yes, I know how dangerous that can be. LOL!

But .......

I think most of us have that one "ride or die" person who would do absolutely anything for us and never tell another soul. Which leads me to wonder.....

Would you (not you specifically tim, but in general) knowingly break the law to help someone?

In my case, there would only be a very few limited scenarios and only two, maybe three people I would do this for. As far as me breaking the law, there is only one major crime I would willing commit under very specific circumstances to a specific person who has rightfully earned my absolute hatred and deserves whatever is coming to him. Otherwise my moral compass is still intact.

So what says you, peeps? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Also interesting, I don't recommend following through with this kind of plan.

Of the billions of people on this planet there is only one for whom I would even consider the kind of plan that involves a clandestine trip back to Florida to feed some swamp puppies.

The rest of the world is safe.

The card is still legible and he's happy. The house is coated with pieces that are drying, partly finished. Bags and boxes filled with yarn, blanket bags. I like the hat he made me.  I think he should have sale in the summer.

Maybe I should suggest to my daughter-in-law that she look for teaching positions in the Toronto area when she finishes her PhD. I'm pretty sure tim could demonstrate a stitch or two lol.

As far as hobbies go.... Its a good one to have ❤️

Ahhhhh....

Now that we have moved into the season of below freezing nights and warmer days, I've rediscovered a car ride game I used to play every winter.......Pothole Dodging!!!!

The area I'm in is probably at a level 2 or 3. I'm sure by the end of March I'll be at level 100 LOL!!

So far it's kbois 100 and potholes 0.

Have a good day everyone and dodge those road craters!

Don't hit many potholes on foot.. lol.   However, they are a problem, I know.  As well as being Friday, it is also:  image.png.54629907e9b937dd0994b050b112f6da.png

I've managed to finish chapter two of my next story.  I watched an interview with Stephen King and George RR Martin. Martin asked King how he writes so fast.  King said, I make sure I write 6 pages per day. Martin said, "I've had a good 6 months and written three chapters."

Needless to say, I am no Stephen King, George and I are similar...wondering if we have any talent or should we have been plumbers (i don't need a job, but you know what i mean). LOL.   Mr. King is well-disciplined and write 6 pages no matter what. I look at the chapter and say, nah.

Today i said, you will finish chapter 2. No shopping or looking at cute animals.  Write.

I did, and I set up an outline for chapter 3.  I have no excuses. But i'm superb at making them.

Eh, whatever, writing is not my job. Now, I have some shopping to do. Have a good Friday, all.  😁

It takes as long as it takes, tim. Your stories have always been top tier, so why mess with your process?

That's very generous, calling it a process. I suppose I'm just not too serious about it anymore. Sometimes I think I should be. I think being more 'normal' has affected my creativity in some ways.

There's always something. But being alive is a more desirable outcome than the other option.

Plus, my yak is being delivered today  so that's exciting.  :)

Pine shavings are excellent for stall bedding. Much easier to keep clean than straw. Takes a bit longer to compost.

Just trying to make your yak comfy

Oh great, thank you. I'll run out and get some. I'm sure Costco has some..lol   hahaha
