The driveway, porch and other walkways completely clear. Mind you, it was a bit on the windy side. 2 2

In six hours our feels-like temp, went from +72F to -4F ! It started with rain, and ended with snow. Oh and around 9:00 AM, our region also had a visit by a burning, booming, and exploding, 7 ton asteroid / meteor, just in the next county. The film clip and story was on national news! They said it is a common occurrence, but this this one was unusual because it was seen and heard, by so many populated metro areas, as it sleeked across the morning sky before loudly exploding. March always keeps us guessing, as to what mother nature will throw our way next. 6
Mikiesboy Posted March 18 Author Posted March 18 (edited) i went to bed for a couple of hours and wake up to.. you guessed it, snow. I'm not going out there to shovel it (thankfully there's not enough to warrent that). Haha 🌨️☃️ Edited March 18 by Mikiesboy stupidity 3

I’m glad we both don’t habe any shovelling to do. 1 3

Today a glorious 23°C (low 70s F) in Galicia, photos in my Instagram; tomorrow we go 300 m south with max 8°C (too cold to think in °F!) at 4,000ft on plateau N of Madrid, then 250 miles east to the balmy Mediterranean. Me thinks the dogs will be confused. I have my Irish sweater ready for tomorrow! 3

Same for me 4 hours ago, Mikiesboy said: It's the neverending story... Ugh, it’s the same for me, but I notice the temp is supposed to be above freezing for you and me for most of the rain, so maybe it won’t turn out as bad as the are predicting. Having said that, I’m glad I did my grocery shopping today. 🤞🏻🤞🏻 xoxo 3

I have work from home options, so I took that today. tim did our groceries yesterday as well. I think because we were out of something and figured, since he was there may as well get it done rather than the weather. I trust you will all have a good day. 3

So far it's just wet and gray out there. I have no plans to go out but we have to fetch the dog later on. I am craving an apple spice cake, so i'll bake one. It will go with Chapmans, Pecan Butter Tart Ice Cream that someone bought me yesterday. It's so good. lol 1 5

Since the roads and sidewalks are ice, our friend is not going to drive out of town and we do not have to fetch the pooch today. All for the best. I will bake a cake, as you do when there's an ice storm. 4
Mikiesboy Posted March 20 Author Posted March 20 Some of you may have read part one of The Case of the Scallopini-ed Mayor which was part of the secret author contest last year. Several people asked for more ... so I wrote part two. I hope you'll have a look. 5
