Well, well, well... It seems the goats' group is made of urban sophisticated ones, and simple, country ones. I think Ieshwar's theory might have some truth in it too. More has to be found out about the hooved ones. (and the Great Escape of 1970 is the most secret, least documented of all the happenings of Area 51, CJ; nice try in trying to cover it up, but all the truth lovers and conspiracy debunkers will have seen right through your attempt...)

I don't see why you make such a fuss... I'm just an average goat, writing stories on the internet...

Glad to see Chris failed to find an Hawaiian version of Piedmont to go to.

And omg....

55 post till the 4000 mark!!!

I'm so watching you.

Chris did manage to find a Hawaiian version of Piedmont, didn't they? LoL. Well, that was all the doing of the Eeeevil Blackheart.

And, um, watching me? Surely that is a very boring passtime... Why don't you save yourself some trouble? Or, if you insist, you could always wait until I've made 52 or 53 of the 55 posts you mentioned. :)

45, but who's counting 0:)

Shhhhh!!! :P

country goat city goat...

and finally through a serious of well placed sneaks and allusions Cj has announced the title of his next project.

ACK! Another leak!!!!

But, surely, it would be an ideal niche market... Fiction about gay goats seems to be terribly under-represented on the internet... :sheep:

Do you think I care?:P

You can tell that we're all waiting for the next chapter. This thread always deteriorates in the days before the next one is posted. :)

Interesting.... So you think that CJ is having humans addicted or perhaps hypnotised thanks to his irresistible stories? .... The goats aren't stupid at all. So do you think that in the absence of the sufficient updates, the fans start finding plots to control the planet everywhere? Or doubting the innocent writer? Dangerous but interesting...

So if CJ wants his readers to remain healthy mentally, he should update soon!

Graeme won't reply. The "Do you think I care?" was a confession he is part of the GAC (Great Animals Conspiracy). The first clue that you're on the right track is the name of the cat in For the Love. And the fact Eric is a weasel!

So apparently echidnas are in hand with goats... Got to be really cautious.

Guys, I was browsing through the net looking for some interesting quotes and I found this one. I HAD to post it here. CJ and other goat members got to read this:

"There is nothing wrong with going to bed with someone of your own sex. People should be very free with sex, they should draw the line at goats." ~Elton John

I had such a good laugh. What do you think? And what about Conner? Does he fall on the line?

Sometimes it started getting silly as early as on Friday. Of course, once we get to quoting Elton John on goats...

Obviously, Elton isn't as free as he espouses.

I have never had to get in line! 0:)

If CJ thinks, and is always quick to remind us, that he's a lurker with close to 4,000 posts now. There's a rather large bird of prey with Talons of Steel lurking in the shadows watching everything that's going on.

Do you have any idea how hard it was to find this thread again? It was buried on page 2 of the eFiction Discussion Forum. I also noticed that the vast majority of threads between the start and this one were started by C James, so it's all his fault....

I liked chapter 34. Not a lot of action, but there was still progress. What I was impressed by was the FBI -- even allowing for an admitted homophobic attitude, the FBI were coldly professional (as distinct to warmly professional, like Bob).

What is not clear is the type of email used by Thaddeus. A reasonable number of email servers require a password to send emails as well as receive, which would remove the "reasonable doubt" defense. However, we have to assume that the one Thaddeus uses is not of that type. This means that anyone could, in theory, create an email and make it look like it comes from Thaddeus. Think of the fun we could have with that 0:)

Thanks, CJ! I can see the story beginning to come to a close, and this is just the lull before the storm.... (category 5, of course).

Well now that blackheart is dead will that make things harder to fix or will it make things easier now?

Bondwriter! First you called Eric a Bastard... I don't know how you knew that, BTW, you said that long before you saw the chapter where that was even hinted at, and now a Weasel? Poor, misunderstood Eric. 0:)

Hi Graeme!!

Yes indeed, the thread was hard to find. However, by general consensus, we decided that everything was Shadowgod's fault, so we must blame him!

The FBI do tend to be coldly professional in real life in such a situation (they will try and keep their personal feelings out of it, or at least they are supposed to), so that part was easy for me to write about.

The situation with Thaddeus' e-mail is a good catch Graeme. I can't say more for fear of your spines, except that the password for an e-mail server at an ISP would be one thing, but, say, sending via gmail, hotmail, or a host of other web-based ones, while reataining an IP, would be able to be created by anyone tapping into an open home network. As for the action ramping up, it is possible that it might. Chapter 35, well, it's just a relaxing little scene, entitled "Hell's Fury". :)

Hi CJ,

I have read the 34th chapter and as usual, it's really cool. I loved visiting the monuments. It was really nice learning all these things. Bob was super-cool, especially about helping Chris to get even with Steve.

So the guys making plans for college. Btw, I don't think you would have completed the story without mentioning surf. :D You seem to really like to surf.

Take care,

Ieshwar

P.S The title of the next Chapter is making me think of Church. Will it be about Thaddeus?

Oh no... as of this posting the  Lurker Goat... is at post 3,994... only 6 more... which he may be posting as I type... look out... the server can't... :pant: take... much more... :)

So they get some extra vacation, all expenses paid. Not too bad, is it? And some payback with the flashy shirt, thanks to Bob, as Ieshwar pointed out. Still no news from Eric? I

Hi CJ,

That was a nice relaxing chapter to read. It mainly took me back to visits to Hawaii when I visited the Arizona Memorial.

It is beginning to look that any lawsuit the guys have against Thaddeus will help ensure that they can afford to go to college in Maui.

So for something :off: . When the boys first met with the anal FBI woman (thought I'd use that word instead), she was wearing a black business suit, which got me thinking about the police in Hawaii. In most tropical places, police wear white as it is cooler than the black. Yet in Hawaii, all the police including the beat cops are in black. Why? Figured someone may know the answer to this question.

And as far as Eric goes, I believe that he personally checked himself into a rehab centre and will change his ways. He will come out and become a peer counselor for other troubled teens and be very successful with it. Thus revealing the angle that Eric always was 0:) .

As far as the locating device goes, does this mean another trip back to Piedmont County for Chris? It would make the story quite exciting and make us all wonder what Veronica will do to get back at him. :D

Lastly, I loved the way that Chris finally got Steve back for all the speedo incidents. I can just visually imagine an eighteen year old guy in polyester shorts, a loud Hawaiian shirt, and a lime green ball cap. :great:

Steve

P.S. I can't believe that you appear to be avoiding posting. Your still 6 away from the magic number. Come on, be the first goat to reach the lofty 4000!!! I'm sure there is money to be made here.

Thanks Ieshwar!!

And you're right, so far surfing has been in two of my three anthology entries, and now FTL. Hrmmm, It wasn't in my Fall 2006 story "The Muse", though. Maybe I should have had the Muse go surfing after their dinner together?

Sorry I can't answer about the next chapter.. If I did, the Echidna will turn me into a pincushion! :o:ph34r:

The FBI, from my limited experience, do tend to wear dark buisness suits a lot, even in HAwaii. I agree it makes little sense. Actually, I think wearing a suit in HAwaii is nuts.

I travel to Brisbane (Queensland) every so often for work. The people there tell me that they can always spot the business people from Sydney or Melbourne -- they're the ones wearing suit jackets. Me? If I'm going to Brisbane, I'll wear a button up shirt and maybe a tie... I haven't worn a suit jacket for a couple of years now.

I thought it was funny that Chris got to have some fun revenge on Steve for a change.

I've heard that the Monument as an effect on people when they visit, especially veteran's of that war. So it wasn't surprising to me to see the guys walk around quietly.

And another great chapter CJ.

:lmao: Yes, indeed, Eric has lots of angles going in this story.

*tries to feel bad for picking on Steve for his typo. Nope, can't do it*

But you are right, Steve. I'm glad that support for Eric is growing. We all need to be more understanding of today's youth. They're exposed to violence, porn and the capitalistic way. Eric just seems to be more vulnerable to his environment.

Poor Eric. :(

I have a special hatred for ties; I got rid of my last one at least ten years ago. If I have to go anywhere formal, I wear a string tie, also called a bole toe,the official neckwear of the state of Arizona.

If I had to wear a regular tie, I'd probably start babbling gibberish, like so;

Yes indeed, the Arizona Memorial is a very, very special place; Morso than any church or library I've ever been in, people become silent when getting off the launch and entering.

Yes, poor Eric was indeed exposed to porn... During the webcam's operations, at least. I'm sure that both shocked and mortified him... 0:)
