The main events in this story are true; some literary license has been taken with the narrative. George is a 50ish gay guy and this is coming out story and deals with some of his traumatic life events.

"A Cold Spell," the fifth installment of my "Pleasant View" series is unlike anything that comes before or afterward in the ongoing lives of Jack, Brad, and friends. "A Cold Spell" is my foray into the world of sci-fi, and is also my homage to the eerie events surrounding a tragedy and a mythical (or real) creature that some say still haunts the hills and hollers of Appalachia.

Peter Morticelli finds himself thrust into a ghoulish mystery, along with the rest of his small town. Strange sightings and happenings are leaving many to beg the question: is somebody tampering with the spirits of the dead? While a mystery is afoot, Peter is more interested in solving the mystery of Simon Chernosky, an unfriendly loner at his school.

Charlie and Kippy and friends are off on another Halloween adventure...this time taking it to the farthest reaches of space and time, and enjoying themselves, mostly, when they aren't being shot at or chased by bad guys!

For this reason, he attempts to do everything he can to make sure his only son is prepared to replace him when he dies, but the prince has flaws of his own. One is that he is attracted to other males, not females. Since his father refuses to accept his sexual orientation, King Percival does everything within his power to alter his son’s desires, until the situation ultimately spirals out of control.

A story of two boys who meet on a college campus. One holds a secret that destroy whatever relationship that could occur. This is the sequel to my previous story: "Merry Christmas Patrick."
