“We don’t have to talk about it if you don’t want to.” J said

“I do, I want to be open and honest with you since you told me about Seymour. So San Francisco has an awesome gay night life. I checked out several places before I landed at buff boys, I had to work out more so I looked the part. Taking the money helped me start living and I found a studio apartment and a gym and started working out all the time. Once I got settled in and started working just dancing was keeping me in shape. All those men touching me and paying me was quite the thrill. I had so many offers for sex and boyfriends but I couldn’t, I wanted you. I was going to tell you sooner where I was but I was afraid your parents would find out and tell mine.” I said feeling guilty

“T you have nothing to worry about. I understand you did what you had too and had you had a boyfriend I wouldn’t have minded. You needed someone to keep you company but it sounds like you were lonely.”

“I did have friends. There was Brooks and he dances at night and is a college boy by day. He was the first real friend I made. I went with him to his parent’s house for the holidays and I met his awesome boyfriend Miles and they are quite the pair. Miles introduced me to Rusty who I share an apartment with. Rusty is very quiet at first but once you get to know him, he’s a total sweet heart. So that is my main crew Brooks, Miles and Rusty.”

“That’s cool T.”

“You know Bob came to visit me once a year and I didn’t know it was him. He sure like to put money in my string or jock strap.”

“I didn’t know he visited you. Pop had said the Bob was gay and he had a partner years ago who died.”

“CC said he didn’t have anyone.”

“I think it was when Bob was a teenager. I remember Pop saying his name was Cody and he was a quarterback on the football team and no one knew he dated Bob. One night Cody and his parents had a huge fight and he wrapped his car around a tree he hit at 100 miles an hour. “

“Oh wow.”

“Yeah apparently he was devastated over the loss and never dated anyone else. He doesn’t know what they argued about but has ideas since they didn’t want him at the funeral.”

“That had to be rough, losing your lover than not being able to say goodbye.”

“You know TJ, I would have been in the same boat if something happened to you. I’ve loved you since we were kids and I missed you every single day. Then we reconnected and then you left again, it tore me up” I sat there in silence not sure what to say but knew I had to say something

“You know I hardly remember being a kid because we moved so darn much. Lucas was always the constant in my life. Kevin told me a while ago when something tragic happens to me I tend to block everything including the good. I guess when I lost you the first time I blocked all of it out, which is why I didn’t remember you. I don’t know why mom or dad didn’t say anything when I was infatuated with you when you were on TV.”

“I told you I wanted to reach out but I was scared and it would have been creepy” we both laughed.

“I want you in my life, I love you.” I said and leaned over and kissed him. We had one of our epic make out session and got interrupted by the phone.

“Hey CC” I said adjusting myself

“TJ I talked to Jack and he is on board with your decision and is drafting all the paperwork. I set a time with Kat and Lucas and unfortunately you have to talk to them together. Trying to get them separately would raise a red flag.” CC said

“I guess that it’s ok and I can talk to Lucas privately after.” I said

“Good, they will be there in 10 minutes.”

“Man you work fast.”

“Get decent and we will talk later. Chow” and she was gone

“Well we have visitors coming soon. Would you stay with me please?” I asked J

“Sure, babe” we sat and waited for them to arrive. They got there right when CC said, man she sure was accurate. J buzzed them up and grabbed some water and started coffee for our guests.

“Hi Kat and Lucas” I said greeting them at the door

“Hello TJ, you look handsome as always” Kat said

“Hey Teej” Lucas said and gave me a bro hug

“Come in and sit down, we have water and coffee.” I said being the host.

“Water for me” Lucas said

“You know me too well TJ, I’ll have some coffee” Kat said and smiled. After getting Lucas water and Kat her coffee we sat in the living room.

“I want to thank you both for agreeing to meet with me. First, do you have any objection to JC being here with me?” I asked

“Well dear, it’s is hard to say since we don’t what the meeting is about but I think it is safe to say he can stay.” Kat said

“What mom said works” Lucas said

“Ok well Aunt Kat, I’ve known you my whole life and you too Lucas. This is hard for me to say but I wanted to tell you before it happened; I have asked CC to fire Brayden and my mother from BHO.”

“Good for you, I was wondering when that shoe was going to drop” Aunt Kat said

“Yeah I thought it would have happened a while ago” Lucas said

“So you guys won’t be mad?”

“Oh hell no, that smug bastard has it coming” Aunt Kat said

“TJ, when you left the last time it was so hard being around him. He talked shit about you all the time. He even had the nerve to say you made me gay.” Lucas said

“That was the last straw and we separated for nearly a year. What really gave him a wakeup call was Kellan and Jordan supported me through the ordeal and said he was wrong on so many things” Aunt Kat said

“Speaking of the twins, I am planning on having Kellan take over the day to day operations of BHO and learn from CC, She can’t do it all by herself and she still has her business to run.” I said

“Well that will be good for Kellan but what about Jordan?”

“I want to create a spot for him and give him most of what my mother oversaw.”

“Well she will have to agree to all of this first.” Kat said

“Nope, I have power of attorney over her affairs while she is in capacitated and I am taking 25% of her control and splitting it between Grayson and Beau and CC is giving me 25% of her share so I maintain 50% and mom will have nothing. Dad wanted it this way and I need to show her I mean business.”

“Well TJ, you really have grown up in the last few years. Though there is something you should talk with Kellan and Jordan about before you agree to this. It is something Brayden knows that he will hold over their head.” Kat said

“What is that?”

“Lucas call them and asked them to come up here; they are downstairs waiting.” Kat said. While we waiting for them to come up my mind was running a mile a minute; what could Brayden hold over their heads? They came in and sat with us in the living room

“Boys, TJ has an offer for you but I told him that you needed to talk” I explained to them about firing Brayden and my mother and my plans to let them run things.

“TJ, what we are about to tell you might gross you out.” Kellan said

“There is nothing you could say that would.” I replied and Kellan and Jordan exchanged looks.

“Well here goes, we love each other and are partners.” Jordan said and looked down

“Oh I see so you expect me to flip out because you love your brother; wouldn’t be so bad if I didn’t already know.” I said and Lucas snorted and water shot out this nose

“Lucas Anthony, contain yourself” Aunt Kat said

“You what? How?” Kellan and Jordan said

“I’ve known you forever and I’ve seen how you look at each other, not to mention Lucas and I caught you guys once but never said anything.” I said then Lucas and I started laughing

“We were super careful and we don’t believe you.” Kellan said

“Oh come on my big stallion lets go for a ride…. Buck for me baby” Lucas said imitating Jordan

“Come on lets go to pound town and you pound this hard muscular ass” I said imitating Kellan. Everyone was laughing but Kellan and Jordan

“Come on guys that was hilarious” JC said

“Not when you guys say it” Kellan said embarrassed

“Now boys, it just means next time don’t get carried away” Kat said with a smile

“Yes mom” Kellan and Jordan said in unison

“So if you fire our dad, won’t he be a security risk?” Kellan asked

“He already is one, what do you suggest” I asked

“Well from what we know he may have had a part in killing your dad” Jordan said quietly

“WHAT!” I yelled. I was still mad at dad but this was getting interesting

“We found details that he may have done it himself. Something never sat right with Bob when you father died mysteriously. No one knew he was going to be there except a few people. He was also surprised that dad was there and was the only one who walked away” Kellan said I was seething at this news

“What did Bob say when you told him?”

“Well that’s the thing, he died before we could.” Jordan said

“That wasn’t mysterious enough for you?” I asked

“No but we did order protection on your mom and had a full cardiac work up and blood panel drawn.” Kellan said

“Please tell me you didn’t find anything” Kat said

“We’d be lying if we didn’t” Jordan said and Kat stood up and starting pacing.

“Tristan Sr. loved Brayden and took care of him like he was family. He made a lot of things possible for us and helped us along the way. I can see how this would make Brayden jealous but is it enough to kill someone over? We need to get Jack and Liz here stat” Kat said. I saw JC pick up his phone and make a call. He stepped out of the room and then came back.

“Pop and Liz are on their way, he said they should be here shortly.” JC said and a few minutes later the bell sounded to let us know someone was on the way up. Once they arrived Kellan and Jordan filled them in and I watched Jack and Liz’s eyes yet wider and wider as they talked.

“Where is CC?” Jack asked

“I don’t know but I can call her.” I said.

“Do it and have her come here.” Jack said

“Anyone know where Brayden is?” Liz asked

“He’s at the office getting ready for an overseas trip” Kellan said

“Seemed pretty excited about it too.” Jordan said.

“Guys I need to go get some air, I’ll be back in a bit” Kat said and then was gone. CC arrived and we filled her in.

“Son of a bitch, I knew something was up with that asshole; what a greedy bastard. Where did Kat go?” CC said at that moment Kat came back and joined us. She looked calm, cool and collected.

“What are you planning to do about Brayden?” CC asked

“I don’t yet, it’s difficult to decide to end a life.” I said at that moment Jack got a call and walked away.

“TJ, don’t let this stand in your way. I will work with the folks at BHO and come up with a plan.” CC said and Jack returned

“Well TJ, your problem has been solved.” Jack said

“What do you mean?” I asked

“Brayden apparently received a call that drew him outside of BHO headquarters and he wasn’t paying attention and got hit by a city bus.” Jack said as he looked at Kat. No one seemed to react to the news.

“Well problem solved, now it’s time to plan a funeral.” Kat said

“Mom did you do something?” Lucas asked

“No, I went to get some air like I said and how could I if my phone was here.” She said

“You don’t seem broken up about it.” Kellan said

“The last couple of years our marriage was rocky. I wanted a divorce but he didn’t and if I did file he would expose everyone in the business and our boys’ personal lives. I had to protect my boys.” She said with tears

“No one faults you Aunt Kat and thank you” I said and she nodded

“Ok now that Brayden is gone we need to deal with my mom. When am I supposed to meet with the grandparents’?”

“Tomorrow morning, I didn’t want you to have to deal with firing Brayden and then seeing your grandparents.”

“Thank you for that.” I said as a text came in

DH- Are you free? Tristan wants to talk to his big brother.

T- Just finishing up with Aunt Kat and her family. I’ll facetime you when I’m ready

DH- I will try to calm the little rascal until then

Everyone left but Lucas stayed behind.

“Can we talk?” Lucas asked

“Sure what’s on your mind.”

“I am sorry for how my dad treated you. I also have a question and I talked to Beau and he understood.”

“It’s ok Lucas and this must be serious”

“I would love for you to be my best man. I wanted to ask you before Beau did as you’ve been my brother forever and I’d love for you to be it.”

“Wow Lucas I am honored but what will Beau do?”

“He said he’d ask Grayson, he didn’t want you to feel like he was choosing Grayson over you.”

“Can I talk with Beau first and let you know?”

“Sure, just do it soon in case I need a backup best man” I hugged him and walked him to the elevator. I went to my room and pulled up Kevin’s number and hit facetime. I don’t even think it rang:

“Brudder!”

“Hi Tristan! How are you?”

“Iz good, pwayed in the pool today”

“You did? I bet that was fun”

“It wuz, I splashed and made daddy all wet.” He said giggling

“I bet he wasn’t happy.”

“No he was on a call with dumbone (someone)”

“I bet it was quite the surprise for him.”

“He had to use a towel and I gotz his pad wet”

“Hey T, what are you doing” J shouted from the other room

“On with Tristan” I said

“Wuz dat J-wack-sin”

“Yes it was Jackson”

“Canz I talkz to him?”

“J Tristan wants to say hi” at that point J came in and he was shirtless

“Boy yous is pretty” Tristan said

“Hi Tristan and thanks”

“Do you make noises like my daddies do at night?” Oh boy did we both turn red.

“No can’t say that we do” J said

“Tristan I don’t think we should talk about that.”

“S’ok I hear lots of noises and it stops and starts”

“So how are Jake and Josh?” I asked to change the subject

“They no talk, so I not know” he said. Boy he was smart like Kevin said

“Well I miss you brother”

“I miss u more brudder.”

“Is your daddy there?”

“Daddy T2 wants you. I not hear any noises. “

“What noises?” Kevin says as he appears

“Hey Kevin” JC and I say

“Hello boys, what’s up?”

“I wanted to let you know one tid bit of information about my talk with Tristan. He asked if we make noises like his daddies do at night.” I said I watched Kevin turn redder than a tomato. JC and I laughed

“Well I guess we must be louder than we thought. Just wait till I tell Jeff how he describes it.” Kevin said

“It was good talking to you.” I said and ended the call.

“So big fella, you want to make some noises tonight?” J asked

“You know, that sounds like a plan” I said as we ran upstairs
