    Anthology Check-In!

    Now that the Secret Author contest is behind us, it's time to focus on our next site event... the annual Anthology!  We have two themes this year - Horizons and Unspoken.  Which one is speaking to you?  Or are they both?  There's just about a month to go before the deadline to submit stories to me for the Proof Team to do their magic.  I've already had some stories come in, and I'm excited to see what else this anthology brings.  So, raise your hands... who's got something in the works for us?

COVID is just the Flu!

I swear if I hear one more person say that COVID is just the Flu, I might knock their teeth out!  I’ve had the Flu many times in my 47 years on this Earth and I this is NOTHING like the Flu.  I caught it 4 months ago.  It was a brutal 10 days of high fevers, awful cough, chest/lung pain, whole body aches, ear infection, lose smell and taste,  I even passed out a few times… I really thought I was going to die! It may be a tad late to let you all know, but my favorite Christmas song is Silent Night. The tone, the pace, and the words all echo in my head.
