I see an apple. My mind’s eye is how I remember things or remember how to certain tasks Ive always thought of my brain as a filing (dammit, it took me long enough to spell that word correctly 🤦♀️) cabinet that opens to the pertinent drawer when the need arises. It is really interesting to know this is not the case 100% across the board for everyone. And there is a name for it, to boot. This has been a very enlightening blog, and though I now know you “see” things different -
I have the picture of an apple but my brain keeps on fighting with me showing stuff I don't wanna see, then in the end as a reward give me and apple and pen to paint it.... So... you're unique. -
I see an apple. Then a tree. Then apple pie. Then I get hungry. Then my brain goes off in several directions. The older I get, the more scattered things seem to be, but I've also been doing some research and it's very common. Its called menopausal brain fog and typically will get better once your body adjusts to it's new hormonal norm. It can be frustrating, but living with someone with ADHD has taught me to step back and take a breath. That thought or word I'm reaching for will -
i read it didn't have a name until 2015. i was reminded about this yesterday at the doc's, and again this morning when my Serenity app said to visualize clouds and see them moving across the sky. Well, i cannot conjure them up to see them. However, i understand the concept and can still use that somehow in my meditations. I have no idea what my IQ is and don't believe that VITA Mahjong really is the way to find out. -

I see an apple. No, I see a pile of them. Because our little tree is loaded down, and the table currently has a basket full of the little freckled things. But yes... I had a friend once who had the same experience as you. This was in high-school, and we didn't have the words for it. So we thought he was just a little different, and that was that. He was also one of the smartest people I knew. To the degree that his parents had him tested, and he was somewhere north of 140 IQ. He just proces -

"Uneventide" is not a standard English word, meaning it does not have an official definition in standard dictionaries. However, it is most likely a combination of two distinct concepts or a slight typo/misremembering of another word: A typo for "Uneventful": If you saw this in a sentence like "We had an uneventide afternoon," it is highly probable that the intended word was simply uneventful. A blend of "Uneventful" and "Eventide": Uneventful means calm, qu

Eventide—the evening, dusk, or twilight—serves as a potent narrative device in storytelling, symbolizing transition, introspection, the winding down of struggle, and the passage of finite time. Key Symbolic and Structural Roles in Storytelling: Transition and Liminality: Marking the threshold between day and night, eventide acts as a boundary state where rules shift, secrets emerge, or characters undergo psychological change. Introspection and Calm: As external demands fade with t -
