A Phone Call Can Change Your Life

The last six or seven weeks of my life has been full of chaos and turmoil, some good, some bad. The Ravens Win the Super Bowl

How incredibly awesome was that moment? Let me tell you, I have been breaking out in smiles randomly since yesterday.   I started the night watching the game at Grotto's Pizza, during that first amazing half by the Ravens. People there were just going wild. I even got photograped by an area magazine- I was wearing my Flacco Delaware 5 jersey, and I was standing next to a guy wearing a Flacco 5 shirt, and it was pretty cool. They took a photo of us reacting to one of the touchdowns.

A story idea or too outlandish?

I just got an idea last night about a story set in Hollywood California about a special agency that works for the big studios.   Sounds simple and easy enough, but here's the twist, they aren't the standard movie star agents, deal breakers, or Entourage-like groups that make people smile. Superbowl... you mean that was today?

I try not to get upset or bent out of shape, but today was really screwed up.   On Friday I left work all excited. I had Saturday off and I was opening Sunday. The Last Grand Master is Published

Today my newest book - The Last Grand Master is released by Dreamspinner Press. For those who've followed me, you know what it is, but here's a bit more for those who don't know.   Last year Myr asked me to write something for the Premium Content sections of GA. I did. It was titled Chosen of Honorus and it is still available in Premium - always will be. After it finished posting, I was able to shop it to a publisher and Dreamspinner Press bought the book. They renamed it The Last Grand Master

Decluttering

I miss my old GA/Writing Life

Venting and Such

So my new class has started and I already hate every bit of it which is never a good way to kick things off. It’s an advanced 2D animation class and I figured out years back that 2D was not a style that I preferred, but this is a core class and the last 2D class I have to take for my major. New tick borne infections identified

One of the most nasty and difficult to treat persistent infections is Lyme Disease. It is caused by bacteria spread by the deer tick. There really no sense in running away. Strange things in life

I will leave this blog short for now, but I think I need to write something. A short story is now in my head that cannot be removed. So cold

After constant warnings to the kids about packing for cold weather, it has finally hit. So, we're grateful that so far, it has been nice in the 40's, right now is 30 with strong gusts (all temps in F BTW). Forecast is even showing possible snow on Friday (kids "yay", me "groan").   The trip, as Dan has blogged, has been sooooo fantastic. Looking to the future

The last few months have been interesting to say the least and the ending of 2012 was not in the least what I was expecting. As anyone who reads my blog already knows, the first part of December my brother was diagnosed with 4th stage Leukemia. Let me tell you, that really threw me for a loop. He is fighting and has already gone through his first two rounds of Chemotherapy and with any luck, he'll only have four more rounds to go. New Year- same old me

Well I hope everyone is doing well so far this year. I have been busy doing a lot of things so far this year. Just not sure where I will end up.   1) Doctors- been keeping up with the foot dr. He has gotten me supports for my shoes and hopefully that ends the pain in the feet for now.
