. I know what I will be doing early New Year's Day... :)

So do I. Sleeping!  But then, I have already read chapter 1!

Ok dumb question, and I apologize if this has been asked, I've been neglecting the forums the last week, anyway, now that you're finished with Autumn, will you not be posting the rest of the year? Posting winter in 2016?

Hey spikey, I ask dumb questions all the time, so join the club. I mean if you don't ask, how are you going to know the answer?

Anyhow, this question came up in a PM I had sent to Carlos. He told us a while back, but I had forgotten.

The much anticipated Winter is set to debut on January 1, 2016. So, there will be a wee break between the books - just as was done between Summer and Autumn. I know what I will be doing early New Year's Day... :)

IMO, the only dumb question is the one left unasked. I truly believe that.

Maybe it's just me, but I find if I binge read a series, it ends up getting boring. I'm trying very hard not to be repetitive with CJ, but still think a break between books is beneficial to me, and more importantly, readers.

There will be a Winter, and in case you're wondering, a Spring. 1810 is correct, I hope to begin publishing on New Year's Day, kind of an anniversary since Summer began posting on January 1 of this year. My break from CJ and the gang, to work on other projects, keeps getting interrupted when the characters whisper in my ear and I have to go write down a bit of dialogue or the description of an event or location. Funny how easily the words come at times.

Kitt and Bucket have read Chapter 1, and the Aussie has even read 2 and 3 (I want to ensure the Australians sound real and not like caricatures of Crocodile Dundee). Mann's time is limited over the next month, but he's already made a first run though the opening chapter. If all goes according to plan, the story will be very close to finished when it begins posting on GA. Once it does, it'll do so on a set schedule until the end. I despise getting hooked on something and having the author abandon it, for whatever reason, so I won't do that to my readers.

As you can see by the previous couple of posts, speculation has already begun about the Jeep's color. Next thing you know there'll be questions about the breed and name of the dog! Not that CJ's getting one or anything.

What? Me tease readers? Never!

However, in the great American tradition of marketing... I recall reading somewhere in the GA Rules and Regulations (or whatever they're called) promoting our writing was encouraged. I'm just being a good little drone and following orders. Er, I mean suggestions!

Plus, you know better than most I do drop small hints here and there which are seldom noticed. The only t-shirt CJ's ever worn 'on camera' with allusions to cars was a Jeep one back in Summer. But the birthday gift was still a surprise to everyone. What was it Mann said? Something about the rich kid gets a Jeep so he can roll it over and kill himself? LOL

Jeeps are much harder to roll than they used to be!  As for your Easter Eggs, I need a bigger basket to keep tract of them!

That's so funny, I was so caught up with how cool I thought the surprise party was, and the closeness of CJ's family that Jeep color never entered my mind. But it should be like a metallic blue, cause that's just boss, I'm just saying.

I don't recall what color Kitt's Jeep is, mine's black and that happens to be the most popular color for Wranglers.

Family has been, and will continue to be, a central theme/part of the series.

Mine is a 4 door rag top in what they call Redrock. A dark red, almost maroon but not quite with gold metal flake.

Winter minus sixty-one days...

November 1, where has the year gone?

Over the last ten months, there were  41 chapters of CJ's story posted. The kid's been through a lot and needs a break, but we'll be back two months from today (keep your fingers crossed).

I checked back to be sure of the dates.

Still find it unreal that CJ has only been with us since January 1. Seems so much longer ago than that..

The seasonal catch up is good for me. Now I won't get carried away with my comments because the seasons will be in sync!

Every time I see a comment or a new review for Circumnavigation, it makes me smile.

The PP, Pope & Potus boat, was inspired by Trevor's catamaran. The interior layout I created is a bit difference but the Lagoon 42 is the same vessel. And just so you know, the ending cliffhangers for summer, where inspired by the ultimate goat himself: CJames. (The CJ thing is just a coincidence in case you're wondering.)

I looked up the Lagoon 42 online. It's a beautiful boat inside and out. I even found a floor plan for below deck. It's amazing that there are 4 sleeping areas on that boat and the back of the cat with the dual steps is a really cool looking feature.

I've never been on a cat that big, only smaller ones. But I did spend two weeks cruising the out islands in the Bahamas, on a 65' sailboat, many years ago. That's what I call on for inspiration whenever I write a scene aboard the PP.

I'm gonna try and post a tidbit of some sort or another here weekly. Think of it as a tiny fix.

Work on Winter is coming along nicely. Couple of chapters through the editing process, others at different stages. I'm still writing about Australia!

A weekly fix sounds like a grand idea! Will look forward to that. Writing about Australia.. Hmmm, I hope it's the kind of landscaping I'm thinking of. :)

Just backed up the files to the cloud. I'm so terrified of losing even a day's work!

Today, I left CJ, Owen, JP, and Tom walking towards the Food Court at Circular Quay, on their way to get lunch. :D

Good to know. I just realized today that I was not Following this forum - my oversight has now be rectified and I will be looking for tidbits. Heck, I'd take crumbs...
