My answer is 5 mph, and if I’m wrong, it’s all Mr. Google’s fault! 🧐 Wrong answer, but will answer the question tomorrow when I wake up! 2

My late husband told me this was on a math test he had to take in high school and no one got it right! If you are going down the road 55 mph (88.51 kph) and there is a fly in the vehicle. And the fly is flying from front to back. How fast is the fly flying? 55mph 1

Fly paper, while it does trap many, grabs more people than flies Once into a car, flies will never leave voluntarily, short of setting off an insecticide bomb inside Smell of said bomb lingers for weeks, but does not deter more flies from moving in. 4

And the fly is flying from front to back. How fast is the fly flying? The common house fly has a maximum speed of 5mph. Other species can get up to a whopping 13mph. However, they don't fly front to back/back and forth. They dive bomb your head, waiting for you to open your mouth. Then when you spit it out, it will shake itself off and then proceed to taunt you by landing on the windshield directly in front of you and fly away when you try to swat them. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 1 4

Only the car is going 55 mph (88.51 kph) not the people or the fly! 4

Popular Post Wayne Gray Posted December 10, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 10, 2020 Howdy, DiC. I hope everybody is doing well. I'm almost through a crazy implementation of eleven COVID testing machines. Eight done, three more to go. To do it, I've had to learn some basic IT stuff, because these things are run by computers and all need hardwired internet connections, drivers from the company's website, installing various things onto each machine, and then there's finally the stuff I'm qualified to do - testing to make sure they actually work as intended. Anyway ... the hope is they are done after tomorrow is over. That's the goal. So long as nothing goes seriously wonky then it'll happen. On that happy note, I must get to bed. See you lot tomorrow! Goodnight. 🙂 2 7

But personally, I'm an old-school type of guy. I'm not a fan of the YOLO lifestyle that my peers have today. It's because I love myself and my loved ones that I must live responsibly and practically for them and myself. Our nature is to keep wanting for more. So fulfilling whatever we want to do at any cost can be an exhausting burden because it never really ends. True strength is holding back ourselves when the impulse to do something stupid is strong. 6
Popular Post Wayne Gray Posted December 10, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 10, 2020 Well, things went wonky. Two of the labs didn't have the appropriate infrastructure required for the hook ups, so I only got one handled today. Though, now I know what is needed for the other two, and I'm working with our IT department on making it happen tomorrow or early next week. But ... the goal always was to have a testing option available to exposed healthcare workers within ten minutes of any of our clinics. That has been achieved. So I guess that's a little win. I hope everybody is doing well. 6

Fae Briona Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Guess I'll be working from home next week. They're doing cleaning / asbestos abatement on our air handling system and, given that the temps are dropping into the 40F', the building will get COLD. 5
