I closed a really difficult deal. Had folks threatening to back over nonsense that they claimed they hadn't seen before. Of course I had to refer them to the emails that I sent weeks ago that addressed this very issue before they signed off on the changes. A little reminder that the buyer could sue as per the contract and that they would still owe me a commission brought the grumbling to a halt and the signatures onto the papers. Funny how they were all smiles when I delivered their checks after the deal closed. I hope that everyone has a great weekend!

The wild weather here missed us completely,, but some areas not far from the barn were devastated..

My days are starting to blend together.two of my customers have decided to ride a weekday show series. Weekday shows combined with hubby working 4 day weeks have my rythem off. If it wasn't for the calendar app on my phone I wouldn't know if I was coming or going!

Why are boyfriends all crazy? I think the wedding planning is getting to poor Justin.

I went to the grocery store this morning and evidently he was watching for me to come home. As I started towards the house I could hear the first notes of this song, by the time I entered he was lip synching along in the living room.

Completely naked.

The volume on the stereo was loud enough that it probably could have been clearly heard throughout the entire block, had anyone been outdoors.

Was a long week this week, but things should start calming down some as it gets closer to school starting and all the new payroll paperwork gets sorted.

SP is at work now, and my joints are feeling the "cold" front moving in.

Wow. Today was a really busy day, pretty much since the minute my alarm so rudely dragged me from the depths of sleep this morning.

There's nothing like a payroll Monday coinciding with 1st of the month rent checks to process, a deposition summons at the courthouse on our shotgun dude, plus the boss wanting a list of all capital expenditure projects over the last year (which the previous mgr didn't keep track of) by 3pm, taking pictures of the concrete driveway that was poured at the new house today, then trying to track down a maintenance guy after they all clocked out, for a sewer back up.

Add in a session with a personal trainer, then fixing dinner. And I still have to walk the dogs and go pick up my son later.

At least I didn't have to deal with having someone trying to drive a 24ft moving truck under a portico with about 10ft clearance when the truck was obviously not going to fit. Yeah.... my coworker next door gets to deal with that headache. (Seriously... how does someone not know that a truck that's almost 15 feet high won't fit under a 10ft clearance 🙄🤔)

Good news!

Younger son got his license today!! I will enjoy not having to pick him up at 11pm on work nights anymore....yay!
