why is it when things start to get better they fall apart?

it’s now my turn to face a health challenge. i been going to wound care for a few months, we hoped it would heal normally but it’s not. now the only option is to have surgery.  i have dealt with this in the past with no issues. have been told due to location i was to plan for 4-6 weeks off work. 

Thankful my brother is back to work full time and is back to 100 %

That wonderful news about your brother.. and not so much for you. I'm sorry you're having to go through more, rick.

You've tried but let the docs look after you. Sometimes it's the way we have to go. Take care and please let us know, when you're able, how you are.

My cousins had one when I was a kid. She is the only dog - before and since - who would watch the floor for “treats” to fall rather than looking up as you’d expect. Must have worked, because she never reverted to the “looking up” way.

I hate to hear this rick. I hope that the surgery is successful and you are back to full speed in a short amount of time. Take care of yourself.

spoke with the Surgeon and we scheduled the surgery for June 3. was told to plan to be off work 2-4 weeks. 

We talked about the procedure and what could happen. When i left it sounded like a Chinese menu 1 from column A / 2 from column B. was also told all the results and what to expect after the surgery. 

they told me that usually they close this type of operation but they also gave me all the options open / close / packed / unpacked and worse case wound vac. won’t know till he gets started. 

Now the poking and prodding begins with medical test. i feel like a pin cushion. 

 

at least we are playing it safe. 

so this is Wednesday anyone got any “Good News” to share?

Blew an injector in my truck, which turned out to be one I replaced less than a year ago. Warranty will cover all repairs. Hidden damage means they decided to replace the block. I decided to replace some parts on a "just because it is 18 years old and it makes sense" basis. Bottom line is that I will end up with a whole new power plant for about $600.

The draw back is a 3 week wait for the new block and lower end assembly to be delivered. The loaner the dealer gave us is tiny! F350 to a focus.
