i watched a lot of tv.  interrupted by work or sleeping for the most part.  i didn't want me or my life.. so i watched theirs.  i'd start at 6am.. and watch until i went to bed.

I think you always got more snow than I did even when I lived in Toronto. I’m hoping it goes away, like tomorrow, and is but a memory we’ll put in the back of our minds,

up here is little snow belt ..we often get more  up here.. but i do not have to go out.. so yay

My area is the opposite of that. Cooler in the summer and warmer - and less snow - in the winter. I did live north of Toronto in a snow belt for most of my childhood, so I’ve paid my dues, I’d say.

I just spent close to 3 hours at Urgent Care. 

Idiot me fell last night. No reason other that I was stupid. Did something I shouldn't have and went straight down onto my bad knee, plus whacked the other one but good. 

Luckily nothing is broken. Big old contusion and orders to take it easy until I can maneuver without pain. 

No gym for a week. I'm pissed about that more than anything. *sigh* It hurts. I'm glad I don't have to deal with snow.

Small rant .. i think supply shortages is a excuse. i just got my car back from 12 weeks in repair shop. They did a good job fixing it. i think my replacement parts came in a row boat from china. first time took a month for a part but it was the wrong part then had to wait another month to get the correct one. every time i asked it was supply shortages. the sad thing the parts were not electronic it was a bracket to hook my radiator to the chassis.

The company I work for owns a house right in front of the park next door to mine. It's not a mobile home. It's 3br/2ba and the tenants moved out in February. I told my supervisor that I might be interested depending on what the rent would be, hoping to save $200-$300 a month, plus gas not having to commute. 

I found out they'll let us have the house for $500 under market value which means we'll be saving $1000 a month on rent

Not just happy.... ecstatic!

Granted the trade off is losing about 700 Sq ft, but I really don't care about having a big house. Less to clean. 

Plus, I  gave him a wish list of what I'd like done to the place and in addition to what was already needed (new siding, fencing, back steps, new tub and a few other things) he authorized spending $10K on what I want. So new floors and vanities for the bathroom and hopefully a shed for the back and new counteracts for the kitchen. 

I'm so excited!
