What finally worked is I gave him an ultimatum.  Fix some of the shit or leave.  We still have periods that we fight more than not, but I have changed over the years and just toss the shit back at him. One night he told me he didn't like getting hit with the shit, I told him then dont throw it at me, I am throwing it back from now on.  Got better after that!

i'm glad you found your way.   Michael and don't really argue ever, but it's because of our lifestyle. That doesnt mean i always agree, but i am to tell Him if i question something. Then we talk about it. Sometimes he will change his mind, more often He doesn't. But He does listen and think about what i've said.

I miss my old psychologist. She did that. Listened, then pushed my buttons. Then she'd apologise for pushing me so hard, but tell me I needed it. She was always right. Unfortunately, when I finished art therapy (I wasn't allowed more than three years...) I lost her with it. Kind of sad. I have a psychiatrist now who specialises in bipolar disorder, and we talk about stuff in addition to her managing my meds, but I only get to see her for 45 minutes every 3 weeks or so (even less right now since she's on holiday and doesn't have time until a ways into January; last saw her early-mid December). She's good too, though, I have no complaints other than the long time between sessions.

Yeah, that doesn't happen in my world.  i can politely ask Michael to hear what i have to say, and He does.  But final decisions are His, always.  But He doesnt just always choose His way. He has changed his mind. There has to be honesty and willingness in our world. And sometimes He will say we need to discuss something and we do. So it's not just Him stomping around not hearing me.

 

Like with the microwave.. He said we'll get a new one. Sent me online to find one .. I did. He liked it. I reserved it in store and we'll get it today.  yay!!

Hard time waking up this morning.

 

I pushed the hands hard the past couple of days. My furiously typing and working on stories might be biting me in the ass.

 

In other news, finished Betaing BB's story, and have now read tim's for the third time. I'll be doing my comments on it today, fell asleep mid-reading the end. No, tim's story is not boring... and it has a lot of Unicorn Glitter-farts in it.

 

I'll be in lurker mode for a while today.

That's a touch more one sided than I would like, but closer to the way things should be.  With us it is similar, except when he gets in a mood and I have to kick. The harder I kick, the less I have to do it.

Michael is a pretty easy going guy. Something really has to push His buttons before He gets upset. Usually that is something that is hurting me .... He is very protective of me.

we parked at best buy and then walked down to the vietnamese restaurant ... had a yummy lunch  and then walked back to pick up the microwave

Unless you count a coffee pot, I don't recall buying any appliances. All the ones I've had were hand-me-downs from Family.

The lunch does sound awesome. Never had Vietnamese before, but have had Thai and Korean. I LOVE Korean.
