That's kind. Don't worry. he's working, sleeping well, ... but something is going on.  I spoke to his shrink who decided to adjust tim's meds.  I am under orders to contact him  even if I have a small inkling of a question. We are in there next week however.

I even cooked today.  I made spaghetti sauce ... added some of tim's previously frozen meatballs.. Dinner!

I can open canned tomatoes... sauteed frozen onion, celery and grated a carrot.  I did have actually peel garlic and chop that.  It's pretty simple to do. Last fall tim with me helping made nearly 80 cabbage rolls and a bunch of meatballs, which we froze.  We had the last of the meatballs today.  We will so do that again this year.

I made sure both my kids know the difference between a frying pan and  sauce pan. They might not know what a garlic press looks like, but they both know how to read. I've told them that they're smart enough to read a recipe and follow directions. My older one only calls me occasionally when he wants to know how I make something specific. The younger one? Well, he knows how to order online. 😆

Cabbage rolls and meatballs sound good!

This is sauce season. Takes about 2 days from tomato to finished product, so i make huge batches and freeze in meal sized tubs. By frost i usually have enough to last to first tomatoes next year. Fruits go in season but not in that sort of quantity. 

With all this time on my hands with the pandemic, maybe i will make jelly this year. Haven't done that in ages, and found what looks like a good sugar free recipe. A single batch first to see if it firms up. I have not had good luck with sugar free jellies. They tend to come out more like syrup for me.
