Jason Rimbaud Posted April 6 Author Posted April 6 So I'm having a horrible time with the final chapter of Frosted Hearts. Especially the first five pages. It's not blocked, I just can't get the wording right. I'm ready to bang my head into the concrete pavement until I see stars. The chapter is finished but I am so not happy with it. I think I might scrap it and start over. 2 1 1 Quote

I know I'm still needing to forgive Five for all his nonsense. I hope life will slow down and allow me to read again. 2 2 Quote

If I can handle a certain promising author taking 3 months to continue a story (no judgement, I get the lack of inspiration), I can survive you needing a bit more time to your ending right. But I bet you're harsher on your writing than your readers will be. You'll manage to write something you're happy with and we're going to like it. Unless Five and Percy break up, then I'll hate you. But I really didn't mean that as criticism, I know that inspiration can come and go for no apparent reason. 4 Quote

Im having a tough go at it, a writer that can’t write is like erectile dysfunction and the pills don’t work. 😂 3 1 Quote

Hey @chris191070, are mad that Davide gave me an idea to break up Percy and FIve or are you mad that there is a delay in the release. 5 Quote

And I want to prefix this comment by saying I'm sorry.... But first you said you were taking a break to allow your muse to recover. Then you said it was because you didn't want to post new content while they decided if you were a promising author. Now you're saying it's because your blocked again. Either way, you had three months with no writing, how come you haven't been reading your favorite authors on GA during that time? . 3 Quote

Jason Rimbaud Posted April 6 Author Posted April 6 Jason Rimbaud dipped down behind the lip of the culvert that spilled into the flood overflow basin. He squinted as he peered into the darkness of the tunnel that led into the miles of Muni Tunnels beneath San Francisco. He looked over at Jeff Burton and grinned. The prudish Jeff held out a canteen, which Jason took gratefully. As Jason took a long swallow, Jeff checked his P-90. "You know, we could always just tell them we couldn't find it." Jason spat out the warm water and replied, "And let that bastard destroy Pride." Jeff chuckled as he wiped the sweat from his brow. They were both dirty, crawling through Muni tunnels all night, leaving them covered in a layer of fine dust. "You're right. Besides, I owe MuffinLegs." "After he took out Lee and Ben, I figured it's time for payback," Jason said with a determined set of his shoulders. "Doc says they'll pull through," Jeff said as he switched on the light above the barrel of his rifle. "Lee will walk with a limp for the rest of his life." "Boys love men with war wounds," Jason said as he picked up his giant magnifying glass. "Might as well get to it." Jeff nodded, and they entered the large opening. 5 Quote
