A gay man arrives home and wishes his husband Happy Anniversary, but is soon informed it's not their anniversary. That's when he states that he was referring to the anniversary of same-sex marriage being legalized. Once this is cleared up, they discuss the impact and possible future for same-sex marriage.

When my wife died, I decided to move back to Indiana, to spend more time with my grandson. Noticing that Cliff seemed despondent, I decided that a fall hike in Clifty Falls State Park was just what he needed. Suspecting that he was gay, it turned out he was, but his affect was related to something else entirely. We learned a lot about each other and the path we took turned out to be metaphorical as well.

Nat lost touch with former friend and lover Grant after they finished university. He knows from Facebook that Grant inherited a farm in the country and married the 'Lord of the Manor'. So why has he received an invitation to a mysterious local event in aid of the recent flooding? Could there be trouble in paradise?
