My first novel, previously published in Dutch but now translated.

It is the story of three gay travellers in Scotland, immediately after the Great War.

It is about double discrimination, about flowering and gradually subsiding love, of exploitation of tenants by the local gentry and of over-zealous clerics, but also about the development into adulthood against the background of a slowly changing society.

Enter a world of Marcos Martinez, a gay playboy who is swept off his feet but the young and beautiful worker in his hotel, Ramon Castillo. Marcos has it all, money, fame, power and influence and Ramon is just a poor servant boy. Marcos' goal is to wool this beautiful boy into his bed, but Ramon isn't going down without a fight. Can Marcos manage to lead this boy to his bed or will feelings get in the way?

Duty has been drummed into him from birth; he must follow in his father’s footsteps by marrying and raising a family who will do exactly the same in their turn. But when his cousin Kadin arrives at the Hold, he realises he can’t hide his secret feelings any longer.

Another experimental review concept, I've been a fan of Anime and Manga for years now and I know there's a giant collection of BL Manga ranging from excellent narratives to scary rape fantasies. I'll gauge with my first review if there's an interest from others in my views on the subject. Again, my interests range across the genre from romance, contemporary, historical, fantasy, science fiction, mystery, and everything in-between.

That's when he states that he was referring to the anniversary of same-sex marriage being legalized. Once this is cleared up, they discuss the impact and possible future for same-sex marriage.

Patrick has a massive crush on his best friend Cody, and with Cody's leg stuck in a cast after a swimming accident, the two boys are forced to spend time indoors, away from their usual summer activities. However, this deviation from normality gives the boys plenty of time alone during summer vacation. Conflicting emotions bubble to the surface for Patrick when a silly game turns out to be more than just a game to Cody, and both teenagers must come to terms with how they feel for each other.

Ghosts of the past haunt the present in a way that makes it difficult to move foward.
