Nothing Specific

Well I had a GREAT Easter. I ate so much my pants were tight on Monday but they seem to be back to normal now. My Hips Don't Lie

Ok so let's see. Here's a quick recap of what happened over the Easter holidays.   My mom and I went and visited my grandmother and aunt (dad's side of the family). My grandmother decided to give me my graduation present early. Yay! What a combo, eh? So my graduate advisor gave back my thesis yesterday, and thankfully there weren't that many corrections to make, mostly just puncutation (English and Chinese use of commas is VERY different) and some word choice. She also didn't think I should leave an extra space between paragraphs. That was about it, though, and she said, "You shouldn't have any problem graduating." So I've been glued to the TV watching the winter olympics....and I've been watching this controversy in the US men's team. Apparently Hedrick and Shani Davis are about ready to kill each other. I keep trying to figure out which one I like, and who I think is "right" in this situation. I was a big Hedrick fan, because he's good (and hot), but Shani, with his shyness, and barrier-breaking medal, appeals to me as well. Anyone got any insight?

I got accepted to a law school! *dances around like a fool* The problem is, it's not my first choice (cause I'd have to move to another state), and they want a $200 deposit by May 1. Ok, so I've started a Poetry Series at the efiction section of this site. and I've been getting some good reviews. I mean, my first poem wasn't that good. The preparations for my move are coming along pretty well. I've managed to pitch some more junk and trash (since I'm such a pack rat), done some cleaning, and tomorrow I'll box up some books to take to the post office on Monday. TGIF

I drive everyone nuts with my TGIF's. I just love Friday. Well Friday's at four. I always get that euphoric feeling at having two days off! I came home a couple of hours ago. Green and the kid were seated on the floor with big headphones listening to music. Green makes me angry some times I will admit. Before he took this kid in he called me and told me he was doing it. He didn't really ask me he just said he was doing it.
