    Summer Resolutions, Anyone?

    By Aditus

This year I’m going to clear out the shed. I’ll try this long hike someone recommended. I won’t sleep in every day.  I’ll eat healthy, all these yummy vegetables and fruit that are available now. I will finish the story that has been on hold for so long. Summer break starts on Monday, and I have a very long list. What about you? Maybe try to write a prompt story?   PT Prompt #352   Dale bought an ice cream maker, but vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry are just about that

Something I Just Don't Say

So first off I should probably warn you not to read this until you've read DD 36.   I just finished it; the most moving part for me was definitely the hospital scene with Aaron explaining what happened:

The Drunken Idiot Song

The Drunken Idiot Song     I'm a drunken Idiot but that's OK, I drink all night and I sleep all day.   chorus: He's a drunken Idiot buts that's OK, He'll drink all night and he'll sleep all day.   I drink beer and I drink scotch and occasionally even gin. I go to the lavatory. And barf and drink agin.   chorus: He drinks beer and he drinks scotch and occasionally even gin, He goes to the lavatory, And barfs and drinks agin. Stuff for a normal day...

Chaz went to Selene's house a few minutes ago. Like me he's had enough of her crap. I dont get it to tell you the truth. She has always liked Chaz and she never had a problem with him. Oh man I just want a quiet week. Chaz and I have spring break and we're going to New York. I want to see my cousins and Jonathan. David is coming with us but he's going to see his brother and meet his brother's friends. This is just what we need. We need to get away from everything for a while. I cant wait.   Ju

Addiction, obsession, or crazyness? Maybe hate?

Green is so much a music fanatic that he has filled a 60 gig ipod. Have you ever heard of anyone able to do that? I mean he likes everything from rap to Brazilian folk music. Yesterday we were cleaning the closet and I found his collection of CD cases. He has 340 of them. Half of them weren't even open yet so he decided that he needed to listen to them. It's not over I am forcing him to get rid of them. He's crazy to keep so many around considering that he has a box full of them at his mother

People Are Just Great

I mean it! I love people! They're definitely one of my all time favourite things.   So I had a very nice day. I got up at 6am this morning so that I could study for my anthropology test, because I usually elect to just go to bed when I should probably study instea. Yeah it's like the exact opposite of how most college students behave, but if I've got homework, a project, or a test, I think, "well this is the perfect excuse to go to bed early!" So I do, then I just get up and do it the nex

I'm hungry for more

Today I got some really good news. I'm hosted at www.CRVBOY.org :pickaxe: I got such a good feeling when I opened the link to my story. I felt like I was sitting on a cloud. Then I opened my email and was suprised to see that I had email about the story already, so I hurried and opened it. The first email I read snapped me back into reality. It was a flame, and to be honest, I'm so grateful for it. It let's me know that just because I'm hosted on a really respected site, that doesn't mean tha

Ugh!

I've had a horrible stomach bug for the past few days ... I won't go into details, but it hasn't been pleasant. Needless to say, I've spent most of the past several days in bed (or in the bathroom), and haven't gotten anything done. Not that I have the motivation to do anything, but I still need to at least finish what needs to be finished. Hopefully tomorrow I can make a little headway on my Ph.D. research proposal, and finish up with Ch. 9 of SOOTB.   Speaking of which, Ch. 4 should already

I got my muffin and I ate it too

So this morning I didnt have time to eat breakfast and we were out of milk anyway so I planned on eating at school. This was fine with me cuz I had been craving a blueberry muffin for a while, lol. Well the last few days we had been on stage during chorus because we have a concert monday night, and when we're on stage he keeps us a little late. Well the breakfast line closes at 8:25, and it was like 8:21 so I tried to hurry out of the auditorium. I jump off the stage and someone was like right i

Lost

You ever just look around suddenly and realize you don't know how you get somewhere? And worse you really don't know where you're going?   That would be my life     It's stupid really. I'm just tired and still sick. I should probably just go to bed.   Chapter 35 of DD depressed the hell out of me. I cried for most of it. And yeah partly it was Rory and the gang, but it was so much for myself and my own life. It hit a little too close to home, in all the wrong ways. I'm moving soo

Sexuality: I just don't care

So I feel compelled to start with a little warning/disclaimer/advisory/whatever ya wanna call it. This post probably stands a good chance of offending people, which is not my intent. I make it mostly in an attempt to organize my thoughts and lay out my beliefs/desires in a coherent "set" way. I mean to make no value judgements nor am I in any way endeavoring to persuade anyone to come to my way of thinking. Finally, my own thoughts, beliefs, and opinions on ALL these matters tend to be ver

I don't know..screw titles

So I just finished DD 35, and oddly enough it brought back so many memories for me that I can't even be pissed about the cliffhanger. That whole thing with Seth not wanting to say goodbye, I went through that a couple times a year for three years. My boyfriend went off to college as I was starting 10th grade, and it was far enough away from home (well, it was here in Pgh, actually) that I only got to see him at Christmas and spring break. I was so completely pathetic about it, I'd start marking

second try... grrrrrrrrr

I already typed this once  and just as I was about to post it my son pressed some magical button on my mouse and it disappeared so here is try number two! Grrrrr...   Okay so we just finished eating dinner and apparently my daughter seems to think that they only kill poor old chickens to make chicken nuggets and that's only so they won't have to suffer   My son has been watching Dora the Explorer lately and has been quizzing us on stuff he learned while watching, For example, he'll a

These things.

So It has been a while since anything crazy has happened in my life. I mean weird crazy. Today I went to my therapist. when I got there her receptionist told me that she was running late. I had nothing to do today so I wasnt in a hurry. There was this guy there also waiting. He was looking at me really weird. So naturally my paranoid ass sat as far as I could from him.   I picked up a magazine and was really into an article I was reading when i hear a voice ask me if my name is Green. I was li

Identical?

I met my brother and his girlfriend today for lunch. Sometimes I wonder where my brother and I got so different. He's my twin brother and sometimes we can do the same things. We look identical but that is where our similarities end. He can be a little cold with people, something I am not capable of doing. He's never been shy but I seem to be. Ever since I came out to my family my brother seems to want to find reasons for he and I to relate. Normally I would welcome it but today he crossed the li

Flirting

So I've been wanting to write an entry about this since Valentine's day, but I kept getting distracted with other things. If you happened to read my pre-Valentine's day blog, "A dozen long-stem Artichokes", you'll know that my plans for Valentine's day included hitting a gay club in a nearby city. So I did. It was fun, I'd been to this particular one, one other time, and there were definitely alot more people there this 2nd time.   So I walked in and started hanging around by the bar. So

DAVID

David's brother arrived today, from New York City. My first impression of him is that he really does care about David. I almost cried when I saw them hug each other for a long time. They held each other for a long time. It was like watching years of anger and pain melt away right before our eyes. I pulled Chaz away to the kitchen and let them have their moment in private. I am so happy for David. He finally has a real connection you know?   They joined us a few minutes later where proper intr

Hah! and awwwwwwwwwww~

Okay I'm warning you know this is gonna be a little long, but stay with me it'll be sooooooooo worth it   Okay first... I think I told some of you about this but it just got sooooooooooo much better So I bought Rich some jeans for Christmas cause the pairs he has now all have these holes where the back pocket attaches to the rest of the jeans, probably from putting his wallet in and out of it. Anyway, I knew he needed more jeans and he is so easy to shop for because he is really... boring. H

I'm so bored right now ...

I've started a Yahoo group for anyone who wants to receive notification of new chapter postings and/or discuss "Someday Out Of the Blue" (and my other stories when I get around to them ... hehe):   http://groups.yahoo.com/group/littlebuddhatw_stories   The academic conference yesterday was ... interesting. When I went up to the table at the front and sat down where the "discussers" (people who critique the presenters' papers) sit, everyone in the room just stared at me ... obviously shocked

Toward a boring critism of Dom's work

Ok, I'm not trying to be rude, but I think that the topic Magical moments in Dom's Stories...toward a serious critism of Dom's Work is easily the most boring topic I've ever seen on the Domoholic's forum. Maybe I'm not refined enough to be interested, but I have to say that I've never actually started to get drowsy while reading something on this forum.......until I read that topic......ok, sorry. I just had to say something. I think it's a mistake to try to over analyze Dom's work that way. He
