Wow, I'm being worked to the bone here 😮 2 blogs in 2 days So when I heard one of our Review Team Members was heading down under, I thought I might take a stab at writing my first review for the Review Team. No rain for weeks here, and I would take all that I could get, even if it came with lightning and thunder. I have always been fascinated by lightning though. As always, thanks for the look back... -
Here in Central Massachusetts, the rains came this week, and it was as advertised; our half of the state got rain as predicted. For the most part, sudden, very heavy showers, interspersed with a few soaking rain showers. Our town is part of the Quabbin Reservoir watershed area. Nearly half of the town is protected land with a hundred or so old dirt roads one can bicycle on. And then one town over is the reservoir, with many more miles of old town roads to explore. My weather isn't a whole lot different from Bill's, being about an hour apart, but we had one heck of a lightning show last night as I was driving home from work. That nasty 4-letter word is the reason I've only read 9 of the SA stories. It's funny how you can go from unemployed to working and realize you no longer have time for everything. -

As far as the weather, we had storm warnings of thunder and lightning storms with heavy rains and possible tornadoes, if that helps. There is also an area here with older mansions built between 1930s and 1950s with price tags from a half million to three million dollars. I've enjoyed the hype and the games around the Secret Author contest, but there's more to come, so if you haven't read all of the stories yet, then it might be time to pick up the pace a bit.
