Celine and Peobo didn't cover it---they sang the ending song for the soundtrack in the 1991 animated version of the film by Disney

I just remember the old teapot singing it, I know Celine did a song for the new movie

Sorry for the double post, but the old teapot (Ms. Angela Lansbury) still sounds the same :D Now that's the original song

I was only ten years old when this song was released, and after 46 years it still remains one of my favorite Edgar Winter tunes. As a child I didn't understand what he was singing about, but the song was soothing.

I don't claim to understand the French lyrics. Some of our resident Canadians might. :) But, it sends a clear message about suicide prevention.

Oh how I miss Mr. Cocker. He was one of the best 'Blue Eyed Soul' singers of all time. Nice one W-L!

After this week, I really needed to hear this song.

Here are my favorite lyrics:

Quote

When the colours turn grey and the lights all fade
to black again
We’re in over our heads
But somehow we make it back again

Perfect, Drew, just perfect.

Personally, I'm partial to "Our love is untouchable

Oh how this takes me back! I can remember Kansas blasting from the speakers of my Pioneer stereo. Nothing compares to vinyl. Nothing. Great song choice BHopper2.

Testing this to see if I remember the posting code (...oh! No code needed!), though it also happens to be true of the moment.

I bought this album in the 6th Grade, when I first started getting interested in music. It's a favorite of mine, though I haven't listened to it in years. This song was especially helpful when I needed to calm down after a bad day at school. :)

In my grief, this song resonates with me.

And now I'm all alone in the dark of night
The moon is shining but I can't see the light
