nor bouillabaisse, nor escargot or even candied yams,

in fact, the bird's so finicky it only goes for fish;

that's why the crown prefers the Bard, the better smelling dish.

As likely as a penguin eating chowdah

is a fairy eating French toast in a howdah;

more usual is their mutual frustration

with shiny's place with Bard as its fixed station.

The local fox isn't awake this early on weekends to give the National Day of what-ever-it-is today.. MMmm, clam chowder.

 

When is TDF going to learn that the shiny is not hers.

There's a National Day Calendar website that lists what each day is.  Today is National Tell a Fairy Tale Day and National Pistachio Day.  

 

Once upon a time, there was an adorable penguin who loved all things shiny.  She had to deal with an Evil Fly and a Kingfisher Bird of Prey, using her ninja army to defeat them and claim the ultimate shiny as hers.  Now she reigns as Emperor Penguin in the realm of LPW and lived happily ever after. The End.
