It’s supposedly 36C (97F) outside, but I’m not venturing outside to see if I agree or don’t agree. The AC is set at 26C (79F) and it’s just kicked on again, so I’m staying put.

yeah it's hot out there... we are hiding indoors and the AC is on the economy setting ...lol    It was nice and cloudy all day and of course it got lovely and sunny around 6pm.. just when you want it streaming in the front windows.  

It is supposed to be hotter tomorrow and the low tonight will be 75F ... ewww.

Today is Alan Turing's birthday.  A brilliant Gay man, who ended his days chemically castrated. The 'treatment' started in 1952, after being arrested for gross indecency. It left him impotent, and he committed suicide in 1954.  But there is still debate about his death being suicide.  

He was an interesting and brilliant man, it's sad the world was such a different place for Gay people then (and still is for too many).  Alan was pardoned in 2013 by Queen Elizabeth II.  

You can read about Alan Turing in the book; Alan Turing: The Enigma. (forget the film, The Imitation Game, which is LOOSELY based on the book)
