My faith in humanity has been somewhat restored. A couple of months ago we had a couple apply for an annual site. Unfortunately, they were declined. A couple of days ago the husband came in to talk to me about their situation. After finding out more information I resubmitted the application and when it came back declined again, I was able to send an override request to my regional manager with the reasons and what they were doing to rectify the situation. He approved the application.

Yesterday, my front desk person called them to let them know. The wife was so happy. Today, she came in with a beautiful bouquet and told us she was having lunch delivered tomorrow.

Speaking of.... when I was talking to my older son a couple of nights ago, the subject of little Miss Mia came up and regarding the fact that we have the critter, he commented:  "Yeah, that was not on my Mom bingo card."

My dad and most of my brothers were/are big into NASCAR. I never could understand the appeal of watching cars make continual left hand turns for 500 miles. 

Just.... why?

As a silly footnote, my brother had a dachshund that would run around their big dining room table but he only would make left circles... so they called him a NASCAR dog.

The only way to score in baseball is to make 4 left turns in a circle (or diamond if you wish) .What is it about men paying to see continuous left turns.BTW was your brother's dachshund was it a male dog by any chance

Left or right turns, usually the opposite direction to that which has been, politely, requested. Now they are enjoying the delights of a country cottage with wooden stairs and floors.  I have a suitcase to block the stairs off!

There is a beautiful but haunting video in uk press of married guys rejoicing about their trip to India and the spiritual blessings of their trip. Apparently, it was posted the night before they died on the way home.

Yes. My SIL inherited Sammy when her mom died. I think he was about 2ish. They had him for about 14 years. He was cute, but damn he was a yapper.
