I worked in a rehab facility years ago. It's much better to get someone up and moving as soon as they are able after any kind of replacement surgery. It helps to prevent blood clots.

Mobility issues? Yup, it gets them too. Hard enough getting enough of the right exercise in, close the gyms and pt offices? Another blow to your health. 

And now the biggest blow. My neighbor was out walking on the first sunny day we have had in a long time. No surgical mask as it interferes with her oxygen canula. She figured she would just stay 10 ft away from every one. Not good enough for a bunch of bullies. They started hitting and shoving her,all the while shouting about no masks. She fell and fractured her hip.

What the #&*! Is this world coming to?

WOW! That is just wrong. Why can't people just leave others alone. If they can not wear a mask due to their health then they just don't wear a mask. The others wearing a mask will be protected. My stepson and his wife don't wear a mask and I don't try to make them and they don't say anything about me wearing one cause they know at my age I am at risk. They know I am only protecting myself. I have a hard time breathing in the mask but if I calm down enough then I can breathe better. Not saying it works for everyone though. But am sure glad when I get in my car and can take it off lol

i felt a bit panicky the first time i had to wear one.  we bought those little silicone mask brackets ... they helped me be more comfortable

I wasn't too fond of wearing them at first either. Now it's just part of the routine of getting dressed. I think I dislike wearing socks more than a mask...lol.

We're finally settling down for the day (sort of) 

We played Christmas Tetris all morning getting everything put away. We ended up with an extra empty bin and hubby didn't need the ornament organizer. Hmmm..🤔 He did the tree. I did all the knickknacks. After nearly 30 years there are very few original boxes left. One of these years I'll break down and label everything properly...just not this year. 

Son is working tonight so we're having an early-ish dinner. Chicken enchiladas...mmmmmm. Made the chicken in the Instapot yesterday.

so ... this is happening where i am, South Central Texas doesn't get snow as a rule.

We got snow here too in West Texas! About 3 inches

No snow here...but is is on the cool side. Today was one helluva lazy day. I just got around to taking a shower and  as much as I would've loved just going from one set of jammies to the next.... I have to go walk the dogs. Polar bear and palm tree sleep pants might be OK for Walmart, but not dog walking 🤣. 

It's already dropped down into the low 50s so I think I might throw on a hoodie. Don't worry....not gonna cave on the flip flops! 

I'm hopefully going to finish up the chapter I'm working on, it's almost done. (yes @spyke, I've been "clacking" all afternoon!)
