I only made it a year in that environment before I left and went into outpatient. Doing PT isn't all bad. Parts of it really suck, but some of it can be fun. Just yesterday, I had a 90 year old patient tell me I was "a jewel". And followed that up with an explanation of how that was his highest compliment, just to make sure I understood. I enjoyed PT myself even though it hurt like hell because the muscles where just so stiff but once i was convinced my arm wasn’t going to fall off it went pretty smooth and I got full range of motion back pretty quickly. I still use some of the stuff I learned there on a daily basis just to keep it limber. (I ended up with some permanent damage but it’s manageable) 4 Quote
Davide Posted Tuesday at 07:58 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:58 PM While reading this topic lately, I keep having to remember that PT doesn't mean personal trainer in this context. 3 Quote

That was my first thought when I saw PTA on the title of Cassie's thread, but it quickly became apparent it was something medical, which was enough for Google to help me. When people write only PT, that's when my mind goes for personal trainer. Edited Tuesday at 08:23 PM by Davide 1 3 1 Quote

Davide Posted Tuesday at 10:49 PM Posted Tuesday at 10:49 PM Maybe I was too hasty in deleting it and I ended up drawing attention to me being insecure, but now it's too late, sigh. 5 Quote

I have to stop sometimes and remember there are other possible acronyms. 3 Quote

Kileoli Posted yesterday at 06:48 AM Posted yesterday at 06:48 AM @Jason Rimbaud Something unrelated to the PTA and out of curiosity. Do you have anything vegan/ vegetarian in your restaurant? Something like these. 1 3 Quote
