I'm sure she really appreciates you stepping in and being the disciplinarian while she's getting moved. He'll try and con you into lightening his sentence using those sad hangdog eyes, but don't fall for it. If you cave, he'll resume being a little terror. i'm meaner than i look. 5 1

It'll shave almost 2 hours off seeing how its a Sunday. We got about halfway through North Carolina. Not too bad. Good idea. 1 5

Here it was 42°C at midday. We are hiding inside at a mere 30° with hours of air con. not the best day to decide to cook risotto…… So far I’ve used three saucepans and two frying pans and haven’t finished. In three weeks we will be in UK, border controls of the wiener dogs permitting. Not sure if my sister’s lovely cockapoo is ready for the horror that is 001… Edited August 17, 2025 by Gary L Useless at commas 3 3
Popular Post Mikiesboy Posted August 17, 2025 Author Popular Post Posted August 17, 2025 (edited) Happy Sunday!! This was released on this date in 1908. It is regarded as the first fully animated cartoon. It's wonderful that we can still see this today. Have a look: Edited August 17, 2025 by Mikiesboy 7

Popular Post Mikiesboy Posted August 18, 2025 Author Popular Post Posted August 18, 2025 Happy Monday! It is blessedly cool...AC off, fans off, windows open. Current temp is 56F. Looking at a high of 69f today. Danny and i are going out for a few hours a bit later. That means lunch! Have a good day everyone! It is also Yukon Discovery Day today! This happens on the third Monday of August annually and marks the discovery of gold in the Yukon which triggered the Klondike Gold Rush. 8 1

Popular Post kbois Posted August 18, 2025 Popular Post Posted August 18, 2025 Yesterday morning GPS said 11 hours 36 minutes going thru DC and NYC. Skirting around said 13 hours 44 minutes. We opted for the shorter route.....14 hours later..... my weary butt unglued itself from the seat and thankfully my legs didn't buckle when my feet hit the ground. Traffic, a couple of rain showers, a thunderstorm and a few short rest stops rounded out our day. Oh... and my GPS did not know that I was in a 16 foot box truck and routed me up one of the Parkways in New York which has low bridges. Thankfully I was able to exit before my 10' 6" truck met a 9' 8" overpass. That added to our time. But we made it safe and sound, sleepy and sore, but happy. Have a good day everyone! 10 1

I'll go ahead and put myself in the time out corner now. 🤣 We're all glad that you made it HOME, safe and sound. Now go reward yourself with a Lobstaah roll and a Boston cream pie. 4

Lobster roll...no (I hate mayo) Boston cream pie is ok if it has extra custard. New England knows how to do pizza and Chinese food. Good Mexican is harder to find though. Its so good to be home ❤️ 1 6
