I've driven through DC and NYC a million times. I just shouldn't have listened to my GPS.

Lobster... yes. Lobster roll...no (I hate mayo)

Boston cream pie is ok if it has extra custard.

New England knows how to do pizza and Chinese food. Good Mexican is harder to find though.

Its so good to be home ❤️

That's what my oldest has said. He hasn't found a good taco yet in Boston.

You should watch them.  They are very good.

I will concur, they're good movies and I hate movies in general and Tolkien books in specific lol

So, to (possibly) torture Gary.. i did pork tenderloin, with dry rub i make with brown sugar, paprika, garlic and onion powder and bit of seasoned salt.  Then had some rice and 1/2 a pepper stuffed with sauteed carrot and onion, air fried cauliflower, zucchini and yellow summer squash.

it was all very yummy and satisfied the hungry men.

That sounds amazing and very yummy😋

Swapped out the pantry cabinets today because mine is bigger.

Pasta count:

2 boxes orzo, 3 boxes of rotini, 3 boxes of ziti, 4 boxes of elbows, a bag of egg noodles, and I swear at least 6lbs of spaghetti. People..... don't show the elderly how to order groceries online for delivery.

I still have to go through 3 more cupboards, two are mostly baking stuff, plus a box of stuff I brought from Florida.

At least most of the canned items were still good, only about a dozen cans got tossed, the oldest expired in 2019.

Good grief.

I have taken over the cooking and will now plan to have a weekly menu that includes 2 nights for chicken, one beef, one pork, one fish, one vegetarian and one dedicated solely to effing pasta.

Spaghetti anyone? 😆

Drag out that Instant Pot and hit the easy button, Sis. That truckload of pasta will be gone in no time. LOL

When my cousins and I cleaned out my mamaws kitchen after she passed in 2006, we were finding canned goods from the 90s.  She had food in every cabinet, drawer, shelf.......in the kitchen, in the laundry room, in the basement.
