Wow... I bought 10lbs of boneless chicken breast yesterday. Today I trimmed it, which wasn't very much, they did a great job. But holy cluckers... these hens must've been WWE wrestlers... their boobs were huge! LOL!  I got 19 individual pieces all bagged up and in the freezer.

Hi all. 

tim is doing okay. At least today he remembers who I am.  Trust me, having your husband look at you and say, "Do i know you?" Is a little on the freaky side.  At least he believed the nurses when they told him who I was.  

His headache is better and he's doing okay. He and Dan spent a quiet day at home. It was beautiful out so they sat in the garden, read, talked and drank iced tea. 

He says he'll see you tomorrow.

Happy Friday!   i am alive and well and remember most things. i didn't forget Michael entirely. It was weird. He felt familiar to me, but i didn't know why. And once i stopped groping Him, well, even then, i couldn't remember His name. 

Seriously, though, i didn't know His name or who He was exactly. It took a while for things to come back to me. 

But i'm okay today. Headache gone too.

Good news!  That must have been a bit scary.  My big sister had to be “v brave” for a barium-based test on Thursday. All really weird.  Her terrible hip pain is actually linked to her chronic lung disease.  Slowly the pieces are coming together to make sense of all her symptoms.  Sadly, incurable.

Swapped out the pantry cabinets today because mine is bigger. 

Pasta count:

2 boxes orzo, 3 boxes of rotini, 3 boxes of ziti, 4 boxes of elbows, a bag of egg noodles, and I swear at least 6lbs of spaghetti. People..... don't show the elderly how to order groceries online for delivery. 

I still have to go through 3 more cupboards, two are mostly baking stuff, plus a box of stuff I brought from Florida. 

At least most of the canned items were still good, only about a dozen cans got tossed, the oldest expired in 2019.

Good grief. 

I have taken over the cooking and will now plan to have a weekly menu that includes 2 nights for chicken, one beef, one pork, one fish, one vegetarian and one dedicated solely to effing pasta. 

Spaghetti anyone? 😆

When my cousins and I cleaned out my mamaws kitchen after she passed in 2006, we were finding canned goods from the 90s.  She had food in every cabinet, drawer, shelf.......in the kitchen, in the laundry room, in the basement.
