This question from the previous chapter that Ben arises, I've been asking myself all the time: Ben exhaled and the soft whoosh managed to sound both frustrated and resigned. “I probably know better than most, just how complicated people can be, but still…. It’s difficult for me to understand how he couldn’t want more than something casual with you. Did anything ever happen to make him doubt relationships? Do his parents have a good marriage?” It would have been so much easier for both of them if Sem has not the same feelings, but he is so complex personality, with serious commitment issues as Sem says somewhere. As story progress, I'm sure we will hear more of Max, and I would really like to hear what people think about him...
