Does anything last forever?

This question is on the minds of all of our characters in this tale. This isn't a story of eternal happiness. Instead, it is one of using the time we have the best way that we can.

A life well-lived means that we go on long after our last breath - a fleeting life, rippling out forever.

At fifteen CJ Abelló is exiled from his home in Miami because of his sexual orientation and sent to live in Washington, D.C. with his gay father and his father’s wealthy partner. Over the next few years, CJ flourishes in his new home thanks to the love and guidance provided by the two men and their group of friends. He is nearing graduation from School Without Walls High School, ready to begin his freshman year at Georgetown University, and volunteering in the 2016 presidential campaign.

Life had been quiet for Don and Louis. Each was looking forward to Louis' birthday celebration. They got a surprise they weren't expecting.

Matt Stevens is a normal sixteen-year-old. He goes to school and makes good grades. Even though he is being raised in an extremely religious home, he manages to do well. While driving home after school, he witnessed a police officer brutally arrest the young man he saw earlier that morning. Parker videotaped it with his phone and posted it on Facebook. He was not prepared for what happened next.
